Abstract: Various embodiments of a host-neutral gateway device are presented herein. A host-neutral gateway device can include a plurality of local wireless communication interfaces that communicate with a plurality of sets of wireless devices. The host-neutral gateway device can include a plurality of long-range wireless communication interfaces that communicate with one or more remote server systems. The host-neutral gateway device can be programmed to execute a plurality operator-specific applications. Each operator-specific application may be mapped to a corresponding set of wireless devices of the plurality of sets of wireless devices.
