    Abstract: A method of operations of a display-server computing system includes delivering input by a display device to a server computer over a communications network, processing an application unit of the server computer with the input, responsive to the step of inputting, outputting a result of the processing, together with tags indicative of the input, delivering the result and the tags by the server computer to the display device over the communications network, receiving the result and the tags by the display device, receiving new input to the display device prior to receiving the result and the tags by the display device, and processing a transform of the display device by comparing the tags to the new input to obtain a transformed result.

    Abstract: A compute node coupled to a computer network via a computing device that includes communications for communicating with the computer network and persistent instructions for providing control functions to the computing device, wherein the control functions are defined by protocol data. An update control module of the computing device may receive update data from a remote node in the computer network via the communications, wherein the update data includes new protocol data for the persistent instructions. A protocol parser module may parse the update data and generate metadata relating to the update data. A classifier module may receive rules for the control functions, wherein the rules are based at least in part on the update data and metadata. A compiler may compile the parsed update data to the persistent instructions for providing new control functions to the computing device based at least in part on the received rules.

    Abstract: This application relates to apparatus and methods for identifying and remediating poor user experiences on computing devices. In some examples, a user speed determination device is configured to receive a content delivery request for delivery of content to a user device. The computing is also configured to obtain user identification data, obtain user device data and determine a user device speed based on the user identification data and the user device data. The computing device then sends a user device speed indicator to a content delivery device to cause the content delivery device to deliver remediated content to the user device when the user device speed is determined to be less than a predetermined speed threshold. The user identification data can include an IP address and the user device data can include user agent data, user connection data and user resource timing data.

    Abstract: The technology described herein is directed towards an uplink video streaming technology including for private networks that use low-cost mobile devices with reduced hardware capabilities (RedCap in 3GPP). The technology adapts the video quality (bitrate) from the content producer side based on the device capability data of the content consumer, leveraging that both are co-located in the same network. The technology can use machine learning to identify correlated devices with suboptimal video quality, and to propose new uplink data rate limiting data (e.g., PRB quota) for the content provider, to enforce an updated (e.g., reduced) video quality independent of any streaming application. The technology reduces spectrum loss, energy consumption and video rebuffering that otherwise often occur when videos are generated with high quality beyond the capabilities of the video consumers (e.g., including RedCap devices).

    Abstract: Extended reality (XR) management systems and techniques are described. In some examples, an XR management system receives sensor data from an XR interface device having at least one sensor. The XR management system generates, based on the receipt of the sensor data from the XR interface device, processing instructions for an XR processing device to process the sensor data to generate XR content. The XR management system sends the sensor data and the processing instructions to the XR processing device. The XR management system receives the XR content from the XR processing device. The XR management system generates layer content. The XR management system sends the XR content and the layer content to the XR interface device to cause the XR interface device to output the XR content and the layer content in a layered arrangement.
