Abstract: A touch sensor according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a base layer, a first electrode layer disposed on the base layer, and a second electrode layer disposed at an upper level of the first electrode layer. The first electrode layer includes a plurality of first sensing electrode rows extending in a first direction parallel to a top surface of the base layer, and first traces branched from each of the first sensing electrode rows and alternately distributed on both lateral portions of the base layer. The second electrode layer includes a plurality of second sensing electrode columns extending in a second direction that is parallel to the top surface of the base layer and intersects the first direction, and second traces branching from the second sensing electrode columns.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a touch sensor having enhanced durability and optical characteristics and a method of manufacturing the same. The method includes: supplying a touch sensor to an annealing chamber, the touch sensor including a base film and a touch sensor layer formed on the base film; and performing an annealing process on the touch sensor in the annealing chamber, wherein a thickness of a transparent electrode unit constituting the touch sensor layer ranges from about 35 nm to about 150 nm. According to the present invention, by optimizing the thickness and annealing conditions of the transparent electrode unit that affect the durability and optical characteristics of the touch sensor, flexibility and durability of the touch sensor can be simultaneously enhanced while minimizing degradation of the optical characteristics of the touch sensor.

Abstract: A touch sensor includes a substrate having at least one bending portion; and a sensing pattern on the substrate, the sensing pattern including a first pattern and a second pattern, the first pattern being arranged along a first direction parallel to a surface of the substrate, the second pattern being arranged along a second direction, the second direction being parallel to the surface of the substrate and crossing the first direction. The second pattern includes unit patterns isolated from each other, and a bridge electrode electrically connecting neighboring unit patterns of the unit patterns. The bridge electrode extends along the same direction as a bending direction of the bending portion.
