Abstract:
A container for the withdrawal of individual small articles which includes a bottom with a lid having an opening adapted to be closed and adapted to rotate relative to the bottom; the latter has lobes for sealing the opening from the inside of the container and is made of synthetic material while the lid is metallic; successively engaging flangelike beads or thickened portions which project toward the outside or inside of the bottom or lid, respectively, establish the rotatable connection.
Abstract:
A DEVICE FOR MAINTAINING THE INTERNAL AIR PRESSURE DURING THE MANUFACTURE OF A SIZED SYNTHETIC POLYMER PIPE BY PROVIDING A FERROMAGNETIC SEALING STOPPER DISPOSED IN THE INTERIOR OF THE PIPE AND MAGNETIC FIELD FOR HOLDING THE STOPPER IN A RELATIVELY FIXED POSITION. TO YIELD SUFFICIENT HOLDING FORCE, THE SEALING STOPPER HAS PORTIONS OF REDUCED CROSS-SECTIONAL AREA BETWEEN PORTIONS OF EXPANDED CROSS-SECTIONAL AREA.
Abstract:
A pressure cartridge containing solid fuel for the production of a propellant gas, particularly for use in fire extinguishing devices, including a case constructed from a synthetic resin material, a bottom plate connected to the case in a form-locking manner, and a primer charge.
Abstract:
A plurality of propellant cartridges are serially connected with each other to form a band that may be rolled up for utilization in a commercial device, such as a riveting gun. The cartridges may be attached to a band by extending their electrical leads through the band for clamping the cartridges to the band, bonding the cartridges to the band, or providing the cartridges with a force fit in recesses of the band, for example. Also, propellant carrying cases may be formed in pairs for serial connection with primer carrying bases formed in pairs. Also, preformed lengths of cartridge-carrying bands may be connected serially with each other by means of connectors.
