摘要： A model air rocket assembly includes a finless cylindrical body of substantially uniform diameter. The assembly comprises a nose cone, an intermediate canister tube and a lower body tube. The engine is positioned in an engine tube held concentrically within the canister tube. The engine tube extends down to approximately the lower edge of the canister tube and openings are arranged around the lower portion of the canister tube to admit air which augments the engine thrust through the body tube and provides aerodynamic stability.

摘要： A device for simulating hits on a target for example in war games and particularly for simulating hits on armored vehicles comprises a housing which has a plurality of separate spaced apart charge receiving chambers therein. Each chamber contains a distinct charge preferably including but not limited to a so-called fireball type of charge, a smoke type charge and a report type charge. The charges are arranged in separate cups or compartments and the first charge is connected to an igniter which may for example be an ignition system which is set off by an external pulse of light. The other charges are connected to the first charge and to each other through pyrotechnical propagation charges which may or may not have a delay operation so that they are set off in a controlled sequence.

摘要： A rocket for spreading reflecting material to achieve a radar echo comprises a rocket body having a rocket motor at one end thereof, and a rocket head containing the reflecting material at the other end thereof. The casing is locked to the rocket body by a locking mechanism which is adapted to be released by gas pressure generated by detonation of a separating charge. The locking mechanism includes an elongated tube adapted to support the reflecting material on its exterior, and operative to selectively form an interior gas channel between the separating charge and the front part of the casing under the control of a valve member.

摘要： A chaff dispenser for signals and other uses, which ejects from a moving craft and disperses the signal material after a pre-set delay time, comprises an outer case, a canister holding the chaff and explosive charge, a timer, and a parachute. Upon ejection, the timer measures the delay time, releases itself and the parachute which pulls the canister from the outer case. The canister explodes to disperse the chaff. The invention herein described was made in the course of or under contract with the U.S. Air Force (Contract F33657-72-C-0136).

摘要： A rollable cart with a telescoping handle to facilitate pushing by the user, and including a hopper for carrying a supply of fusees to be ignited, transport means operated in timed relation with rotation of the cart wheels for moving one fusee from the hopper so that its igniter end is forced into abutting contact with a heated member for igniting the fusee, and means for then dropping the ignited fusee onto the ground, as the cart is pushed therealong by the user. Disabling means are included to prevent the transporting, ignition and dispensing of fusees during rearward movement of the cart, as when being towed back to the starting point of fusee distribution. The handle and hopper form a unitary structure which is quickly and easily disassemblable from the cart proper, to facilitate packing in a small area such as in the trunk of a peace officer''s automobile.
