    摘要: A multiple nozzle differential fluid delivery head is disclosed. The fluid delivery head includes a body that defines a fluid chamber having a longitudinal axis. The body includes an inlet for connection to a fluid source, and the inlet is in fluid communication with the fluid chamber. The fluid delivery head includes a plurality of outlet ports connected to and extending away from the body. Each outlet port has an interior space in fluid communication with the fluid chamber. The fluid delivery head includes a nozzle insert removably secured in an outer end of each outlet port. At least one nozzle insert has a fluid delivery aperture in fluid communication with the interior space of its associated outlet port for delivering fluid out of the interior space of its associated outlet port. One or more of the outlet ports is angled away from a plane normal to the axis of the fluid delivery head.

    摘要: An actuator orifice and an actuator for enhancing or creating a foam from a pressurized material dispenser. The actuator includes a skirt attached to the dispenser and a trigger movably mounted to the skirt. The trigger includes a flow conduit with a socket for receiving a valve stem. The socket exerts pressure on the stem to release contents of the dispenser. The trigger includes a hollow flow diverter located within the chamber. The flow diverter has a side wall and an end wall extending inwardly from the flow diverter side wall. The flow diverter side wall in turn has slots that provide fluid paths between the flow conduit and a surrounding chamber. The chamber side wall has recesses. Each slot laterally directs contents of the dispenser into at least one of the recesses in the chamber side wall when the valve is activated by the trigger.

    摘要: An apparatus for dispensing multiple fluids from nested containers, while simultaneously venting the fluid containers, includes a first container for containing a first fluid, a second container, nested within the first container, for containing a second fluid, and a manually operable pump for pumping fluid from the containers to dispense a mixture of the fluids from the apparatus. The pump includes (i) a pump actuator for actuating and deactuating the pump, (ii) a reciprocating fluid conduit, which reciprocates upon actuation and deactuation of the pump actuator and (iii) a discharge nozzle for dispensing the mixture of the fluids from the apparatus upon actuation of the pump. The apparatus also includes a mixing chamber for mixing the first and second fluids drawn from the first and second containers, respectively, a fluid transfer conduit for withdrawing fluid from the first container into the mixing chamber and a fluid transfer mechanism for withdrawing fluid from the second container into the mixing chamber, the fluid transfer mechanism including an auxiliary pump, attached to the reciprocating conduit, for pumping fluid from the second container to the mixing chamber upon a corresponding reciprocation of the reciprocating conduit.

    摘要: A piston-powered fluid dispensing system is disclosed. The fluid dispensing system comprises an apertured base, a hollow elongated cylinder, an apertured piston, a hollow orificed overcap, an elongated fluid passageway, an externally-channeled hollow extension, and three valves. The elongated cylinder, which defines a longitudinal axis, carries the base at one end portion and defines a hollow neck at the opposite end portion. The piston, disposed in the cylinder for providing two cylinder chambers, defines a circumferential portion that is slidably engageable with the cylinder substantially along the length of an inner surface. The overcap, carried by the cylinder and rotatable about the longitiudinal axis, defines an internal fluid-mixing region and a throat that is in fluid communication with the fluid-mixing region. The throat, carrying the externally-channeled extension, is slidably engageable with an inner surface portion of the cylinder neck. The extension, also slidably engageable with the inner surface portion of the cylinder neck, carries the fluid passageway and provides fluid communication between the fluid passageway and the fluid-mixing region. At least one external channel of the hollow extension is able to provide fluid communication between one cylinder chamber and the fluid-mixing region. One valve is carried by the base. A second valve, carried by the fluid passageway, abuttingly engages the first valve. A third valve, provided by relative movement between the extension and neck, controllably affects flow between the one of the two cylinder chambers and the fluid-mixing region.
