    摘要: A camshaft phaser system includes an oil control spool valve having two opposing springs to center the spool at a rest position to lock the phaser rotor by blocking supply/vent to both the C1 and C2 chambers, obviating a conventional locking pin mechanism. A double-acting solenoid actuator moves the spool to first and second positions, supplying or venting C1 and C2, respectively. The rotor may be locked hydraulically at any position between full advance and full retard. A system for monitoring the rotational positions of the crankshaft and camshaft includes magnets disposed on opposite sides of the shaft axis. A magnetic sensing element senses the rotational direction of the magnetic field for each position of the shaft. An engine control module uses the position signal and an algorithm to lock the rotor at a desired position.

    摘要: A skyline-suspended carriage system for transporting a heavy load slopewisely of a hill, comprising: (a) first and second vertically-offset and horizontally spaced mobile anchor points; (b) hoists, mounted to the first and second anchor points; (c) a single skyline, partially wound around the hoists; (d) an elongated carriage having carriage suspending idle pulleys riding on the skyline and an intermediate driving pulley engaging the bottom of the skyline which is wrapped around the top sector of the driving pulley to obtain slipless engagement; and a load-grabbing and retaining dragline, wound on a hoist in the carriage. One idle pulley and the driving pulley are close together at the downhill end of the carriage while the other idle pulley is substantially spaced from the driving pulley being located at the uphill end of the carriage. This arrangement stabilizes the carriage on the skyline. The positions of the driving pulley and the dowhill idle pulley can be changed to modify the inclination of the carriage relative to the skyline depending on the slope gradient.

The flanged edges (9), the stamped portions (7) and the enlargements (8) participate in the anchoring of the metal sheet (4) in the concrete slab (2).

    摘要: A process and apparatus for the continuous dissociation of water into hydrogen and oxygen by a thermolytic reaction in contact with a surface (9a) within the reactor immersed in a body (19) of liquid water and heated by an energy input, in particular by focusing solar radiation through a transparent wall (4), so as to maintain the thermolytic temperature at the core of the body of water, whereby a state of boiling is maintained in the immediate vicinity of the surface and generates a gas film near it; the body of water is provided in sufficient quantity to preserve in liquid form the water around that gas film, and within this film the vaporized water molecules are decomposed and in-situ chilling of the decomposition products is assured by the neighboring liquid water.
