Abstract:
A pliable padded thermal safety helmet that conforms to a patient's head. The helmet has an exterior layer that protects a patient from impact injuries, has an interior surface that secures a removable thermal packs that provide hot or cold therapy depending on the treatment intended for an injury, infection, etc. The thermal packs are removably attached to the inside surface of the thermal safety helmet at any desired location inside the thermal safety helmet to provide heat or cold to specific areas of a patient's head.
Abstract:
A pliable padded thermal safety helmet that conforms to a patient's head. The helmet is fabricated with pockets that hold thermal packs that provide hot or cold depending on the treatment intended for an injury, infection, etc. The thermal packs are removably inserted into pockets inside the thermal safety helmet at predetermined locations to provide heat or cold to specific areas of a patient's head. Optionally, the thermal packs can be an integral part of the thermal safety helmet and non-removable.
Abstract:
A pliant EVA helmet that conforms to a patient's head. The helmet is fabricated as a single unit via a molding process. The EVA material provides a stable lightweight structure that allows it to be comfortably worn for extended periods of time. The EVA shell is molded into a protective shell that can optionally be covered by a suitable pliant external layer of material. Optional pockets can be positioned on the inside or outside of the helmet such that thermal packs can be installed in the pockets to provide thermal treatment to the wear.
Abstract:
Significant success in alleviating the symptoms of glaucoma is achieved by orally administering to a glaucoma sufferer a therapeutically effective, but sub-psychotropic dose of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is the most active ingredient in marijuana. The most significant results are achieved when this form of treatment is combined with conventional types of anti-glaucoma treatment, although in a limited number of cases, THC therapy alone proved successful. Also disclosed is a dosage unit form for THC comprising a suitable dose of THC in combination with an innocuous diluent such as fructose.
