Abstract: An adjustable weight plate to be used with a standard or Olympic barbell handle, comprising a wide opening that is easy to fill with sand or other loose filler material, multiple inner compartments to separate out the sand and equalize the weight, and reinforcing dividers to strengthen the weight plate. The adjustable weight plate also comprises a metal collar to strengthen the inner radius of the weight plate, and an easy-fill funnel to fill the weight plate with sand.
