    摘要: A stand-alone battery monitoring system coupled to a battery product having a positive pole and a negative pole, a housing and an electronics package contained within the housing. A sensor is coupled to and communicates with the battery product and the controller. Multiple code segments form software on the controller, the software includes a code segment acquiring battery product data for voltage and internal temperature from the sensor, a segment filters the acquired battery product data into modified battery product data and processing the modified battery product data against stored parameters, a segment stores battery product data in the portion of memory and retains the battery product data to provide historical battery product data. A code segment compares the stored data against threshold levels and an indicator sends an alert if the code segment comparing the stored battery product data against threshold levels determines that data is beyond those levels.

    摘要: An auxiliary battery attachment apparatus, which is attachable to a first housing containing a first battery, includes a second housing, a second battery disposed within the second housing, positive and negative couplings, a one-way charging circuit, and at least one switching device. The coupling(s) are respectively coupleable to positive and negative terminal(s) of the first housing. The second housing includes positive and negative terminals, which are electrically coupleable to an electrical system. The charging circuit is electrically connected between the positive coupling(s) and a positive output of the second battery, and facilitates charging of, but prevents current flow from, the second battery when the first battery is supplying electrical energy to the electrical system. The switching device(s) is operable in at least two states to electrically connect the positive terminal(s) of the second housing to a selective one of the positive coupling(s) and the positive output of the second battery.

A main battery having a main positive output and a main negative output is also provided, together with an at least one auxiliary battery having an at least one auxiliary positive output and an at least one auxiliary negative output. A main electrical circuit having an at least one switching device is provided with at least two operating positions. The two operating positions selectively couple the main and at least one auxiliary battery to the common positive terminal. In the first of the at least two operating positions electrical charge is provided to both the main battery and the at least one auxiliary battery. A controller is also provided and coupled to the main electrical circuit and switches the at least one switching device based on input from an at least one sensor.
