摘要： An apparatus, system and method for providing speech recognition assist in call handover are provided. With the apparatus, system and method, spoken utterances of the call taker, not the caller, are captured using speech recognition technology and transcribed. The call taker can use a noise-canceling microphone placed optimally to receive voice input from the call taker. The speech recognition system can be trained to the specific speech patterns of the call taker and the vocabulary of the speech recognition system can be limited to the specific domain of discourse related to the job scope of the call taker. The transcription of the spoken utterances of the call taker may be stored in a record associated with the call. This record, and the corresponding transcription, may be transferred to another call taker upon handover of the call to the other call taker.

摘要： An apparatus, system and method for subscription computing using spare resources of subscriber computing platforms are provided. In the apparatus, system, method, computation and storage, intensive tasks of subscription computing are performed with subscriber resources in a peer-to-peer model rather than with centralized resources owned by a service provider. Resources may be allocated on unused workstations, workstations not currently in active use, or on workstations elsewhere in the enterprise or in other subscriber enterprises. Moreover, workstations in the enterprise may be equipped with extra resources for use in providing the subscription computing services of the present invention.

摘要： A method and system for remote control of a desktop computer from a hand held mobile device having a display. A desktop screen image is split into regions, showing a part of a region on the screen of the mobile device. A virtual trackball is provided which includes a location button and trackball button. The location button operates as a virtual mouse which can be used to click on hotspots and when the virtual mouse cursor is about to cross the boundary of screen regions the next available screen region will smoothly slide onto the device screen. The trackball button is useable to switch between hotspots which can be identified through local image analysis.

摘要： In a connection arrangement including two or more electronic devices, wherein information can be exchanged among the electronic devices through a plurality of communication links between the electronic devices, at least one of the electronic devices being configurable for communicating with a data source, a method for presenting a multi-channel message originating from the data source, the multi-channel message including a two or more components, includes the steps of allocating each of at least a portion of the components in the multi-channel message to at least one electronic device and, for each allocated component, determining possible communication paths between the data source and the at least one electronic device allocated to the corresponding component. The method further includes the steps of selecting, based at least in part on one or more selection criteria, at least one of the possible communication paths for the allocated components, each of the selected communication paths representing an optimal route between the data source and the at least one electronic device allocated to the corresponding component, and routing each of the allocated components in the multi-channel message according to the selected communication paths for presentation of the allocated components by the corresponding electronic device(s).

At least the portion of the data associated with the given data format is routed to the selected electronic device. The portion of the data is utilizable for presentation by the selected electronic device when received by the selected electronic device.
