摘要: This application provides a path determining method and a related device. The method includes: determining N1 first-type nodes from N nodes included in a first network topology, where the N nodes include the N1 first-type nodes and N2 second-type nodes, and the first-type node supports SRv6; determining a second network topology corresponding to the first network topology, where the second network topology includes the N1 first-type nodes but does not include the N2 second-type nodes, and the target topology structure includes M first-type target paths; determining transmission overheads of the M first-type target paths, where a transmission overhead of an ith first-type target path is a smallest value of transmission overheads of a Ki paths; and performing path computation based on the transmission overheads of the M first-type target paths and the second network topology.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a path computation method, a non-transitory storage medium, and an electronic apparatus. The path computation method includes: sending a path computation request (PCReq) message to a path computation element (PCE), wherein the PCReq message carries a constraint condition ID including at least one of a protocol ID, a multi-topology ID, a network slice ID, an application ID, or a traffic engineering (TE) target ID, and the PCReq message is configured to instruct the PCE to compute a TE path according to the constraint condition ID; and receiving a path computation reply (PCRep) message returned from the PCE, wherein the PCRep message carries the TE path.

摘要: A method and apparatus for dynamic medium switching in a hybrid network. A method for packet transmission by a combo device includes maintaining a wireless network confidence rating value that is indicative of packet transfer reliability of a wireless network accessed by the device. A wired network confidence rating value that is indicative of packet transfer reliability of a wired network accessed by the device is also maintained. One of the wireless network and the wired network to be used for initial transmission of the data packet is selected based on which of the wireless confidence rating value and the wired confidence rating value is indicative of a higher likelihood of the packet being successfully transmitted. The packet is routed to be transmitted via the selected network.

摘要: Technologies for spreading a burst of data across multiple network paths in remote direct memory access (RDMA) over converged Ethernet (RoCE) and InfiniBand are described. A network interface controller sends a first burst of a transport flow directed to a second node over a first network path. The network interface controller determines that a second burst is to be sent over a different network path, and identifies a second network path using a multipath context. The multipath context stores a first weight value or a first state associated with the first network path and a second weight value or a second state associated with the second network path. The network interface controller sends the second burst of data to the second node via the second network path.

摘要: Techniques are provided herein for determining a routing path for application traffic based on historic application telemetry and current network telemetry. The techniques comprising determining current metrics for a set of potential paths between an edge device and an application endpoint associated with an application, generating, from the current metrics, a link score for individual paths in the set of potential paths, receiving application status data generated from historic telemetry data associated with the application and the set of potential paths, generating, from the application status data, an application score for individual paths in the set of potential paths, and determining, as a function of the link score and the application score for individual paths in the set of potential paths, a selected path to be used in communications between the edge device and the application endpoint.

摘要: This application provides a method and device for sending and obtaining an assert message, to increase packet processing efficiency and reduce overheads of the network device. The method includes: determining, by a network node, a plurality of assert records based on one multicast source address, where each of the plurality of assert records includes the multicast source address and one multicast group address, the plurality of assert records have the same multicast source address, and multicast group addresses included in different assert records in the plurality of assert records are different from each other; generating, by the network node, one assert message based on the plurality of assert records, where the assert message includes the multicast source address and the multicast group addresses in the plurality of assert records; and sending, by the network node, the assert message in a multicast mode.
