摘要: Certain embodiments of the present invention provide methods and systems for execution of clinical workflows via a clinical application system. Certain embodiments provide a clinical application system facilitating completion of clinical workflow tasks. The system includes a processor configured to associate tasks in a clinical workflow with external actors. The system also includes a user interface displaying clinical information to a user. The tasks are represented as links in the user interface. Each of the links triggers access to a corresponding external actor. Selection of at least one of the task links via the user interface triggers at least one of execution of and access to at least one of the external actors.

摘要: Methods and systems for consolidating the workflow of various devices into a wireless, voice-enabled workflow. A method includes establishing a connection between a wireless, voice-enabled device and a data system using an interface and accessing the data system using voice commands via the connection between the wireless communication device and the data system. Voice commands may be used to facilitate data acquisition, data retrieval, order entry, dictation, audio playback, voice over IP conferencing, paging, and/or data analysis, for example. A plurality of connections may be established between the wireless, voice-enabled device and a plurality of data systems. WiFi wireless technology or other standard for voice and data transfer between devices without use of cables, for example, may be used to facilitate hands-free hygienic, centralized operation of a plurality of data systems using the wireless, voice-enabled device and the interface.

摘要: Film-based images can be scanned in a conventional manner, then digitally designated and “cut” from the digital file resulting from the scan. These selected images can then be collated and registered as individual images, or slices in certain contexts, allowing them to be assembled in various presentations, such as in stack mode with digitally-acquired images. The resulting collated files can then be stored by the user as a new series of images. The technique thus greatly facilitates the access and comparison of the images regardless of the originating medium.

摘要: The present invention relates to a system for facilitating the input of clinical orders into a healthcare application. This system can provide a variety of ways for a user to interface with the system and a variety of ways to facilitate data input into an order form. The system can facilitate selection of an order form by selecting an order form for the user, or by providing the user with a list of order forms that the user can select an order form from. The system facilitates the input of data into an order form in several ways. This system can use stored information to pre-populate some of the information fields in an order form. Data input can also be facilitated by the use of predictive typing, keywords, and drop-down lists. The system can also facilitate data input by taking free form text, parsing the text and entering the text into at least one information fields on an order form.

摘要: Certain embodiments of the present invention provide methods and systems for identification of most read images. Certain embodiments provide automatically determining a reading time for an image based on at least one of image viewing time and tool usage with respect to the image, and generating a viewing order for the image based on the reading time. Reading times may be determined for a plurality of images. In certain embodiments, a priority may be assigned to the image based on the reading time. Images may be arranged on a display based on the priority, for example. A series of images may be ordered according to reading time for each of a plurality of images, for example.

摘要: The present invention provides a computer-readable storage medium including a set of instructions for a computer. The instructions include an access routine, a tracking routine, and a modifying routine. The access routine is configured to communicate a default hanging protocol between a network server and a display workstation. The default hanging protocol includes at least one default display rule for displaying a plurality of images at the display workstation. The default display rule is capable of directing the display workstation to present each of the images at a location on a display device of the display workstation and/or in a sequence in which each of the images is presented at the display workstation. The tracking routine is configured to monitor a selection of an additional display rule. The modifying routine is configured to dynamically modify the default hanging protocol based on the selection.
