摘要： This invention discloses a portable communication apparatus having an optical character recognition (OCR) function. The apparatus at least contains an optical input unit, a processing unit and an edition unit. After the optical input unit obtains the image information which is further transformed by the processing unit to letters which can be processed by the portable communication apparatus, the edition unit then can edit and/or store the letters into the portable communication apparatus to finish the OCR function.

摘要： A touch control input system and a signal generation method are provided. The touch control input system includes a touch control interface, a sensor unit, and a control unit. The touch control input system is featured by sectioning a plurality of blocks based on a plurality of grid lines for constructing the touch control interface so as to identify the displace movement of an external operator based on the blocks. The sensor unit functions to detect changes of logic states of the blocks. Accordingly, the control unit is able to identify the displace movement from one grid line to the other grid line through the detected changes of logic states, which in turn can be utilized to generate a displacement data for controlling electronic apparatuses.

When the time value meets a default value, the respective position value is used to perform the control.

摘要： The present invention discloses a method for balancing the data access to a non-volatile memory by sorting a block number of an unwritten memory block of a non-volatile memory with a queue structure. If the data in any memory block of the non-volatile memory is erased, the block number of the memory block in which the data is erased will be appended to the tail of the queue. If a data is written into the non-volatile memory, a block number of the memory block is obtained from the head of the queue and the desired data is written into the memory block with the corresponding block number, and in the meanwhile the block number is deleted from the queue.

Users of a mobile communication device can select a character or characters which are built in the system but not indexed by a certain character-key-in method (that is, the characters cannot be keyed in with that character-key-in method), index the aforesaid characters, using the indexing system/method of the character-key-in method, and then add them to the key-in method's character-indexing system so that subsequent users of the mobile communication device can use said character-key-in method to key in said (originally non-indexed/listed) characters.

The timer measures a switch time according to a preset time interval.
