摘要： A system to be used to add non-listed characters (i.e., characters not listed in character key-in methods) to the vocabulary banks of character-key-in methods used in hand-held mobile communication devices is disclosed. Users of a mobile communication device can select a character or characters which are built in the system but not indexed by a certain character-key-in method (that is, the characters cannot be keyed in with that character-key-in method), index the aforesaid characters, using the indexing system/method of the character-key-in method, and then add them to the key-in method's character-indexing system so that subsequent users of the mobile communication device can use said character-key-in method to key in said (originally non-indexed/listed) characters.

摘要： A telephone tone setting system and method allows a speaker to set the tone of a receiver. The system includes an authorization control module, a setting module, a receiving module, a number comparing and judging module and an audio broadcasting module. The authorization control module is located in the receiver to control acceptance of tone setting from the speaker. The setting module is located in the speaker for setting the tone of the receiver and mating the phone number of the speaker and the corresponding tone. The receiving module detects and receives the phone number of a phone connecting to the receiver. The number comparing and judging module compares and determines whether the detected phone number matching the phone number of the speaker. When the phone numbers match, the audio broadcasting module broadcasts in the receiver the tone corresponding to the phone number of the speaker.

摘要： A method for rapidly inputting a Chinese character in a mobile phone is provided. The method comprises: entering into a Chinese text editing status and receiving an input code; displaying a plurality of choices of the Chinese characters corresponding to the input code, the plurality of the choices of the Chinese characters being arranged in an order based on a usage frequency of each of the plurality of choices of the Chinese characters; selecting one Chinese character from the plurality of choices of the Chinese characters; and adjusting the usage frequency of the selected Chinese character. The method utilizes a data structure with a weighting value for each Chinese character so that during the input process, the usage frequency of each character is recorded. Hence, the method can expedite the users selection of the Chinese character with a higher usage frequency to attune to the users personal habit.

摘要： A touch control input system and a signal generation method are provided. The touch control input system includes a touch control interface, a sensor unit, and a control unit. The touch control input system is featured by sectioning a plurality of blocks based on a plurality of grid lines for constructing the touch control interface so as to identify the displace movement of an external operator based on the blocks. The sensor unit functions to detect changes of logic states of the blocks. Accordingly, the control unit is able to identify the displace movement from one grid line to the other grid line through the detected changes of logic states, which in turn can be utilized to generate a displacement data for controlling electronic apparatuses.

摘要： The present invention discloses a method for balancing the data access to a non-volatile memory by sorting a block number of an unwritten memory block of a non-volatile memory with a queue structure. If the data in any memory block of the non-volatile memory is erased, the block number of the memory block in which the data is erased will be appended to the tail of the queue. If a data is written into the non-volatile memory, a block number of the memory block is obtained from the head of the queue and the desired data is written into the memory block with the corresponding block number, and in the meanwhile the block number is deleted from the queue.
