摘要： A photographic paper support is prepared formed by the following method: forming a paper sheet and drying it to about 10 percent water; applying an aqueous solution of hydrophobically substituted amylose starch to both sides of the sheet; drying this sheet to below 5 percent water; applying an aqueous solution of the hydrophobically substituted amylose starch to both sides of the sheet; drying this sheet to below about 10 percent water; and extruding a layer of polylefin on both sides of the paper sheet.A silver halide color photographic reflection print element is formed by coating at least one color-forming silver halide emulsion layer on a photographic paper support prepared by the above described method.

摘要： The invention provides photographic paper having increased image stability. The invention is generally accomplished by forming a paper sheet, drying said paper in a first stage to below about 10 percent water, then applying a polyvinyl alcohol solution to both sides of said paper sheet, drying said paper in a second stage to below about 5 percent water, and then applying further polyvinyl alcohol solution to said paper and drying in a third stage. The paper then may be coated to form a silver halide photosensitive color paper. The paper contains between about 4 and about 6 weight percent of polyvinyl alcohol that is concentrated near the surface of said paper. Further, the paper has a oxygen leak rate of less than about 25 cc/m.sup.2 /day and an oxygen GTR rate of less than about 1 cc/m.sup.2 /day.

摘要： The present invention is a method of manufacturing toner particles that includes providing a first emulsion of a first aqueous phase comprising a pore stabilizing hydrocolloid dispersed in an organic solution containing a polymer. The first emulsion is dispersed in a second aqueous phase to form a second emulsion that is sheared in the presence of a stabilizing agent to form droplets of the first emulsion in the second aqueous phase. The organic solution is evaporated from the droplets to form porous toner particles.
