The assembly includes a scrim with conductive hydrogel masses disposed on the surface of the scrim. The hydrogel masses are sized and dimensioned so that when the pad is adapted to the device, the hydrogel masses do not bridge the electrodes to cause a short between the electrodes.

摘要： A security apparatus for a shopping cart having a plurality of casters has a braking member rotatably mounted on a wheel axle of one of the wheels. The braking member is movable between a raised position spaced above the ground surface and an operative position contacting the ground surface, and has a portion projecting radially outwardly from the outer peripheral rim of the wheel at least in the operative position so as to lift the wheel from the ground and impede rotation of the wheel. A locking device releasably locks the braking member in the raised position, and is released by a trigger device in response to a signal from a signal system extending around an area in which carts are to be retained, at which point the braking member rotates into the operative position.

The methods are useful for treating conditions or disorders wherein appetite reduction would be beneficial, including obesity and binge-eating disorder. Pharmaceutical compositions for use in the methods of the invention are also disclosed.

摘要： An electro-acupuncture device for controlling nausea. The device includes a wristwatch like housing, circuitry for generating electro-acupuncture stimulus disposed within the housing, and a strap for securing the housing to the wrist. The device also includes a pair of D-shaped electrodes disposed on the bottom outer surface of the housing. A gasket made of an electrically non-conductive material is applied to the bottom outer surface of the housing. The gasket has apertures which are sized and shaped to receive the D-shaped electrodes. When the device is strapped to a patient's wrist, the electrodes contact the wrist and provide electric stimulation to the wrist.

摘要： A fluid mixing device has an inlet passageway for connection to a primary fluid supply, an outlet passageway; and at least two separate venturi passageways each connected between the inlet and outlet passageways. Each venturi passageway has a throat portion, a first venturi inlet connected to the throat portion of the first venturi passageway and a second venturi inlet connected to the throat portion of the second venturi passageway. The first and second venturi inlets are connected to supplies of two different secondary fluids for mixing into the primary fluid, a first one of the secondary fluids being of lower viscosity than the second. The outlet passageway is spaced a predetermined distance downstream of the venturi inlets to prevent substantial backflow of the first secondary fluid mixture into the second venturi passageway prior to mixing together of the two streams in the outlet passageway.

摘要： A security apparatus for a shopping cart or other wheeled vehicle having a plurality of casters has a braking member rotatably mounted on a wheel axle of one of the wheels.
