摘要: In one embodiment, a method for transferring digital files is provided. The method includes: downloading an application for facilitating the transfer of used digital files; storing the application at the client; receiving an indication of a used digital file that a user desires to sell; searching, using the application, storage on the client to determine any instances of the digital file; deleting any instances of the digital file if they are determined; transferring a forwarded file of the used digital file to a second entity; and deleting, using the application, the used digital file from the client upon transfer of the forwarded file.

摘要: Water soluble materials, compositions and systems for use in treating concrete-containing materials and surfaces are disclosed. Treatment modalities that include addition of the disclosed materials, compositions and systems to pre- and post-construction concrete-containing materials and surfaces are provided. Reductions in the rate and/or impact of corrosion are achieved for concrete-containing structures and surfaces. In addition, despite the water soluble properties of the material, composition or system, the treatments are effective in delivering an advantageous level of moisture resistance to the treated concrete-containing structure and/or surface. The composition is synthesized from a feedstock that includes C9 to C16 branched hydrocarbons of varying structures.

摘要: Systems and methods for enhanced moisture vapor barrier performance for concrete-containing materials and surfaces are disclosed. Treatment modalities that include addition of the disclosed materials, compositions and systems to pre- and post-construction concrete-containing materials and surfaces are provided. Moisture vapor barrier properties are effected over an extended period of time as compared to control systems. The disclosed compositions and systems also yield reductions in the rate and/or impact of corrosion are achieved for concrete-containing structures and surfaces and, despite the water soluble properties of the compositions and systems, the treatments are effective in delivering an advantageous level of liquid moisture resistance to the treated concrete-containing structure and/or surface. The composition is synthesized from a feedstock that includes C9 to C16 branched hydrocarbons of varying structures.

摘要: Techniques are provided for instantiating separate Java virtual machines for each session established by a server. Because each session has its own virtual machine, the Java programs executed by the server for each user connected to the server are insulated from the Java programs executed by the server for all other users connected to the server. The separate VM instances can be created and run, for example, in separate units of execution that are managed by the operating system of the platform on which the server is executing. For example, the separate VM instances may be executed either as separate processes, or using separate system threads. Because the units of execution used to run the separate VM instances are provided by the operating system, the operating system is able to ensure that the appropriate degree of insulation exists between the VM instances.

摘要: A method of detecting an event anomaly includes receiving one or more data points, in which each data point represents a spatial or temporal event; associating a unique identifier with each of the one or more data points to obtain one or more individualized data points; distributing the one or more individualized data points across a grid, in which the grid includes one or more cells; determining an event likelihood ratio for one or more of the grid cells; identifying one or more event clusters, in which each event cluster includes one or more of the grid cells; and storing in a data repository an event cluster having a significance level above a threshold significance level.

摘要: A description of a user is estimated based on the context of the user's travel pattern. A disclosed data-processing system continually receives data points originating from the user's cell phone, for example, wherein each data point represents a visit by the user to a particular geolocation, at a particular time. The system then partitions the received data points into groups, wherein the groups represent the different places that the user has visited. The system counts how many data points are in each group. Based on the number of data points in each group, as well as the number of groups, the system then determines the entropy of the received data points that correspond to the particular user, which is also regarded as the entropy of the user's travel pattern. The data-processing system then estimates a user description for the user, based at least in part on the determined user entropy.

摘要: Systems and computer implemented methods are provided for comparing, associating and deriving associations between two or more spatial temporal data trails. One or more spatial-temporal data trails comprising one or more places are received at a processor. Each place is identified by a spatial temporal data point. And each spatial-temporal data trail is associated with an individual. The similarity between pairs of places is determined to establish one or more groups of places or one or more groups of individuals. Similarity and/groups can be determined based on demographics associated with the place or individual.

摘要: A combination includes a composition providing corrosion resistance for application to a post-construction material, and a post-construction material, wherein the composition is applied to at least one surface of the post-construction material after the post-construction material has hardened. The composition may include an effective amount of a thinning agent, e.g., isopropyl alcohol, ethanol, xylene or similar composition. The composition may be an aqueous solution of a metal salt of a dioic acid. The post-construction material may be reinforced or unreinforced concrete. The post-construction material may be a concrete-containing structure, and the composition may be applied to an exterior surface thereof.
