    摘要: An electrical connector assembly having improved conductivity and continuity. A snap in or push in electrical connector having a zinc body and spring steel components plated with high conductivity metal, such as tin, providing a reduced voltage drop across the attached electrical connector. In an embodiment, a connector assembly has a connector body having opposed end openings provided with an outer surface that slopes downwardly toward the outlet opening. The inlet opening having placed therein cable retainer inserts. A sloping or frustro-conical, snap fit, snap in, or push in outer retaining ring with locking tangs is provided for snap locking the outlet end portion of the connector body to an electrical box or panel. Improved conductivity or continuity is obtained and a good electrical ground is formed between the electrical box and connector assembly.

    摘要: An electrical fitting in the form of a connector or coupler for connecting an electric metal tube to an electrical box or panel or to one another. The fitting includes a body having an inlet end portion, an outlet end portion and a bore extending therethrough. An unidirectional locking device is disposed in an outermost chamber and a sealing washer disposed in an intermediate chamber. A split ring having an angularly bent leading end is provided with a series of offset circumferentially spaced unidirectional gripping tangs. The locking device may also be provided with a series of tube support tangs at the trailing end. Also, the locking device includes a tang forming an electrical bonding or ground between tubes, locking device and connector body.

    摘要: An adjustable ground clamp for easy positioning onto electric conduits of different diameters. A first and a second jaw are pivotally connected and have differently angled jaw surfaces. A distal end of the first jaw has an elongated hole and a distal end of the second jaw has a curved fork having a slot for receiving a bolt with a cylindrical nut. A fastener connects a ground conductor or wire to the ground clamp. The differently angled jaw surfaces, curved fork, cylindrical nut, and the elongated hole result in a ground clamp capable of securely holding electrical conduits of different sizes or diameters without disassembly. The jaws may be easily separated for placement of an electrical conduit without separating or detaching any parts from the ground clamp, making attachment to an electrical conduit quick, easy, and secure.
