摘要: A method for managing information handling systems includes initiating, by a stackable system role (SSR) manager of an information handling system of the set of information handling systems, a boot sequence, making a first determination that the boot sequence does not specify a SSR of the information handling system, based on the first determination: performing a hardware evaluation to identify available hardware resources of the information handling system, obtaining a hardware resource inventory based on the available resources, applying a hardware resource function to the hardware resource inventory to determine a SSR for the information handling system, and continuing the boot sequence using the SSR.

摘要: Methods, apparatus, and processor-readable storage media for automated topology-aware deep learning inference tuning are provided herein. An example computer-implemented method includes obtaining input information from one or more systems associated with a datacenter; detecting topological information associated with at least a portion of the systems by processing at least a portion of the input information, wherein the topological information is related to hardware topology; automatically selecting one or more of multiple hyperparameters of at least one deep learning model based on the detected topological information; determining a status of at least a portion of the detected topological information by processing, during an inference phase of the at least one deep learning model, the detected topological information and data from at least one systems-related database; and performing, in connection with at least a portion of the selected hyperparameters, one or more automated actions based on the determining.

摘要: An edge device for distributed processing of unprocessed edge data from any number of edge data collection devices using an analytics framework includes a storage device for storing the unprocessed edge data; and a processor. The processor obtains the unprocessed edge data from an edge data collection device of the edge data collection devices; identifying a processing modality for the unprocessed edge data; processing the unprocessed edge data based on the processing modality using, at least in part, a virtualized desktop infrastructure connection between the edge device and a backend device operably connected to the analytics framework to obtain a processed edge data result; and providing a computer implemented service using the processed edge data result.

摘要: An infrastructure manager for placing workloads for performance across on-demand infrastructure and dedicated infrastructure includes a storage device for storing a performance metrics repository and a processor. The processor identifies a performance metric change event using the performance metrics repository; in response to identifying the performance metric change event: identifies a placed workload of the workloads that is impacted by the performance metric change event; identifies a new placement for the placed workload; makes a determination that a current placement of the placed workload is different from the new placement; and in response to the determination: updates placement of the workload based on the new workload placement.

摘要: A data storage system includes storage and a global enumerator. The storage stores data chunks, object level metadata associated with portions of the data chunks, and chunk level metadata associated with respective data chunks. The global enumerator obtains an update request including a metadata characteristic and update data; in response to obtaining the update request: matches the metadata characteristic to at least one selected from a group consisting of a portion of the object level metadata and a portion of the chunk level metadata to identify an implicated metadata portion; and modifies, based on the update data, the implicated metadata portion.

摘要: A method for managing data includes obtaining, by a management module, a workload generation request, wherein the workload generation request specifies a plurality of resource devices, identifying available resource devices in a resource device pool based on the plurality of resource devices, performing a latency analysis on the available resource devices to obtain a plurality of resource device combinations and a total latency cost of each resource device combination, and selecting a resource device combination of the plurality of resource device combinations based on the total latency cost of each resource device combination, wherein the resource device combination comprises a second plurality of resource devices and wherein each of the second plurality of resource devices is one of the plurality of resource devices.

摘要: A service band management system includes management device(s) coupled to a workload provisioning infrastructure. The management device(s) identify a first workload provisioning system in a workload provisioning infrastructure, and determine its first workload provisioning capability. Based on the first workload provisioning capability, the management device(s) map the first workload provisioning system to a first service band, and provision a workload using the first workload provisioning system based on the first service band satisfying a workload requirement for the workload. Subsequently, the management device(s) identify that a second workload provisioning system has been added to the workload provisioning infrastructure, and determine its second workload provisioning capability. Based on the first workload provisioning capability and the second workload provisioning capability, the management device(s) automatically remap the first workload provisioning system to a second service band that is different than the first service band.
