Abstract: A power adapter assembly includes a first adapter and a second adapter. The first adapter comprises a first housing, pluralities of first electrical terminals and first signal terminals. The second adapter comprises a second housing, pluralities of second electrical terminals and second signal terminals. When the first adapter and the second adapter match with each other, a first latching element is axially coupled with the second latching element to a first position, wherein the two electrical terminals are coupled with each other. When an external force is provided, the first housing is radial with respect to the second housing, and rotates with each other until the two latching elements move to a second position to be securely fastened. The two signal terminals are coupled with each other to send an enabling signal to the control module, so as to enable the power transmission between the two electrical terminals.

Abstract: A charging device for charging an electric vehicle includes a power plug, a charging gun, a control box, a temperature detecting circuit and an over-temperature protection circuit. The charging gun is detachably connected with the electric vehicle and includes a connection confirmation terminal and a connection confirmation circuit. The connection confirmation circuit outputs a connection confirmation signal to the connection confirmation terminal. The temperature detecting circuit detects the temperature of the power plug or the control box and outputs a temperature signal to a second control unit of the control box when the temperature of the power plug or the control box exceeds a threshold temperature level. The over-temperature protection circuit is electrically connected between the second control unit and the connection confirmation terminal. The second control unit controls the over-temperature protection circuit to adjust the voltage level of the connection confirmation terminal according to the temperature signal.

Abstract: The present invention provides a power adapter assembly including a first adapter and a second adapter. The first adapter includes a main body and a rotating cover. The main body includes a first electrical contact element. The rotating cover is pivotally connected with the main body and rotated between a first position and a second position. The rotating cover includes a first through hole and a protruding pin. The protruding pin is disposed adjacent to the outer edge of the rotating cover. At the first position, the first through hole and the first electrical contact element are misaligned with each other. At the second position, the first through hole and the first electrical contact element are aligned with each other. The second adapter includes a second electrical contact element, an accommodation space and a guiding groove. The guiding groove is disposed on the inner wall of the accommodation space. When the first adapter and the second adapter are matched with each other, the guiding groove abuts against the protruding pin to drive the rotating cover to the second position, so as to electrically connect the first electrical contact element and the second electrical contact element.

Abstract: The present invention provides a power adapter assembly including a first adapter and a second adapter. The first adapter includes a main body and a rotating cover. The main body includes a first electrical contact element. The rotating cover is pivotally connected with the main body and rotated between a first position and a second position.
