摘要: A system and method for automated localization, enumeration, and diagnoses of a tooth/condition. The system detects a condition for at least one defined localized and enumerated tooth structure within a cropped image from a full mouth series based on any one of a pixel-level prediction, wherein said condition is detected by at least one of detecting or segmenting a condition on at least one of the enumerated tooth structures within the cropped image by a 2-D R-CNN.

摘要: A method for constructing a panorama of teeth arch with elements of interest emphasized, comprising the steps of: extracting a teeth arch from a volumetric image; unfolding the extracted teeth arch into a panoramic ribbon; assigning weighted priorities to at least two points in the panoramic ribbon, wherein priorities are weighted higher for points inside or proximal to elements of interest and applying a weighted summation in a direction perpendicular to teeth arch resulting in the panorama with elements of interest emphasized.

摘要: A method for automated segmentation of volumetric images comprising the steps of: receiving a coarse volumetric image comprising a jaw/tooth structure in terms of voxels; defining each voxel a distinct anatomical identifier based on a probabilistic distribution for each of a tooth/non-tooth class; applying the defined coarse image through a coarse model for a coarse output; combining coarse output with the coarse volumetric image; and generating a probabilistic segmentation from applying the combined coarse output/image through a fine model; and converting the probabilistic to a polygonal mesh for each defined class applying a volume-to-mesh algorithm.

摘要: Disclosed is a system and method for classifying a tooth condition, comprising: a localization layer; a classification layer; a processor; a non-transitory storage element coupled to the processor; encoded instructions stored in the non-transitory storage element, wherein the encoded instructions when implemented by the processor, configure the automated parsing pipeline system to: localize a present anatomical landmark in a patient's oral or maxillofacial region depicted in a parsed image frame by the localization layer, said landmark comprising of a feature or features with anatomical or pathological significance; and classify a dental or maxillofacial condition based on measuring any kind of relation between two or more features within and/or between landmarks by the classification layer.

摘要: An automated parsing pipeline system and method for anatomical localization and condition classification is disclosed. The system comprises an input even source, a memory unit and processor including a volumetric image processor, a voxel parsing engine, localization layer and a detection module. The volumetric image processor is configured to receive volumetric image from the input source and parse the received volumetric image. The voxel parsing engine is configured to assign each voxel a distant anatomical structure. The localization layer is configured to crop a defined anatomical structure with surroundings. The detection module is configured to classify conditions for each defined anatomical structure within the cropped image. The disclosed system and method provide accurate localization of a tooth and detects several common conditions in each tooth.
