摘要: Conveyor-type dishwasher comprising a conveying apparatus having compartments which extend transverse to the conveying direction and serve to hold items to be washed. A rinse zone has at least one transversely directed lateral spray nozzle on at least one side each for spraying rinsing liquid onto the item to be washed. Furthermore, a sensor apparatus for items to be washed is provided for detecting empty compartments from among the large number of compartments of the conveying apparatus. A control apparatus is provided to automatically switch off the supply of rinsing liquid to at least some of the lateral spray nozzles of the rinse zone as a function of detected empty compartments, and to automatically switch on the supply of rinsing liquid to at least some of the lateral spray nozzles as a function of detected compartments which contain items to be washed.

The loading apparatus (50; 50′) also has a conveying arrangement (55; 55′) by means of which the items of washware (101′) discharged one by one by the separating arrangement are fed to a transporting belt (62) of the conveyor dishwasher (1). The separating arrangement moves the items of washware (101) in the vertical direction and discharges a respectively lowermost item of washware (101) out of the stacking magazine (11, 11′).

In order to achieve an efficient treatment (cleaning and drying) of the wash ware, along with as low a consumption as possible of resources in terms of water, chemicals and, in particular, energy, there is provision, according to the invention, for the dishwasher (1) to have, furthermore, a wash-ware detector device (51) which is designed for detecting the type of wash ware to be treated, furthermore the programme control device (50) being designed to select a predetermined or determinable treatment programme for at least the washing phase automatically as a function of the detected type of wash ware to be treated and to set the process parameters associated with the selected treatment programme.
