摘要： There is disclosed a cutting mechanism for a stacker. A web of record members traveling in a longitudinal direction is severed by the cutting mechanism while the web is traveling. The cutting mechanism severs the web transversely to cut off the record members. The cutting mechanisms has cutters or knives that travel as a unit with respect to each other and with respect to the web in the longitudinal direction as the web travels.

摘要： There is disclosed a replaceable inking cartridge for a printer. The inking cartridge includes an arrangement for indicating when the inking medium of the cartridge has been spent. The indicating arrangement is non-resettable so that the user is prevented from using a spent cartridge for additional printing. The indicating means is useful for signalling the user or the printer about the spent condition of the cartridge.
