Abstract:
The disclosed elastic strip includes an elastic substrate and an overlying carrier. The elastic strip allows for controlled stretch of the elastic substrate. After stretching and applying to skin, the elastic strip can pull portions of the adhered skin. Therefore, the elastic strip can be used as a wound closure or as a nasal dilator, for example.

Abstract:
An adhesive hydrogel dressing as well as to methods of applying the dressing to a patient is described. The dressing generally comprises an adhesive hydrogel pad, a backing layer, and an adhesive layer on the backing layer facing the hydrogel pad. The adhesive layer and backing layer form a perimeter around the hydrogel pad and hold the hydrogel pad in place on an application surface. The adhesive hydrogel pad is formed with at least a portion of the perimeter of the hydrogel pad tapered proximate the area that the hydrogel pad and release liner separate during liner removal.

Abstract:
Systems and methods for profiled and focused searching of litigation information allow a user to access specific legal information for use during litigation. The user can connect to a web site and access particular information from multiple sources based on the litigation task the user wishes to accomplish One litigation task is to create a litigation profile for a target, such as a particular litigant, attorney, judge, court, or firm. In this way, the user can perform focused and task-based searching to receive information about particular filings in particular locations, made by particular entities without knowing which sources contain certain pieces of the litigation information. For example, the user can receive all documents relating to summary judgment for patent infringement filed by a particular attorney in a particular court without specifying the source of information. In one aspect, the user can also access the source(s) upon receiving the results.
Abstract:
A fuel cell roll good subassembly is described that includes a plurality of individual electrolyte membranes. One or more first subgaskets are attached to the individual electrolyte membranes. Each of the first subgaskets has at least one aperture and the first subgaskets are arranged so the center regions of the individual electrolyte membranes are exposed through the apertures of the first subgaskets. A second subgasket comprises a web having a plurality of apertures. The second subgasket web is attached to the one or more first subgaskets so the center regions of the individual electrolyte membranes are exposed through the apertures of the second subgasket web. The second subgasket web may have little or no adhesive on the subgasket surface facing the electrolyte membrane.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal cell article includes a layer of liquid crystal material disposed between a first polymeric substrate and a second polymeric substrate. The first polymeric substrate includes a plurality of first parallel conductive traces extending in a first direction and disposed between the layer of liquid crystal material and the first substrate, and a first release liner disposed on the first polymeric substrate. The second polymeric substrate includes a plurality of second parallel conductive traces extending in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction and disposed between the layer of liquid crystal material and the second substrate. The first polymeric substrate further includes a removable portion that is separable from the first polymeric substrate with the first release liner to expose a portion of the layer of liquid crystal material or second parallel conductive traces.
Abstract:
A carrier delivered dressing which has a conformable backing with a pressure sensitive adhesive coated on a bottom face and a low adhesion coating on a top face. The backing is supported during shipping and handling by a liner attached to the adhesive and a removable heat sealed carrier attached to the top face of the backing. The method according to the present invention discloses the steps of forming and optionally removing windows in a carrier material and nonpermanently heat sealing the carrier to the backing to form the dressings of the present invention.
