Abstract: An apparatus for securing reflectors to a road bed. The apparatus deposits a small amount of hot liquid bitumen to the surface of the road and before it cools a reflector is set therein. The apparatus includes a vat for heating the bitumen to about 425.degree. F. An articular heated, insulated dispensing conduit connects the output of the vat to a vertical dispensing valve which when actuated deposits a selected amount of liquid bitumen on the pavement. A pump assembly is connected to the output of the vat and is directed into the dispensing conduit and a dispensing valve is provided at the end of the conduit. The whole system is supported on a trailer which is pulled by a truck. The operator sits in a suspended chair and guides the dispensing valve as necessary to obtain the correct location for the reflectors. A foot switch is provided to actuate the pump assembly and valve in a coordinated fashion.

Abstract: A manual marker dispenser for road markers which is supported from a wheel mounted adhesive applicator which deposits small amounts of adhesive at selected spaced positions along a roadway. The dispenser has an upright cage member in which the markers are placed which typically has measurements of four inches by four inches by about three feet. The cage is open at the top and bottom and at the bottom there are two release cams spaced on opposite sides of the dispenser. The cams are essentially cylindrical in shape with about a quarter of the cylinder removed in a V-shaped pattern. Handle and linkage are provided to rotate the cams from a first position where the markers rest on the cam to a second position where the cut-away portion lets the markers drop out of the cage.

Abstract: A golf bag is retained vertically upright during the time of club selection and play by a lightweight vertical housing which includes a spike and a pivotal foot plate normally biased and detained in a retracted position. The foot plate is movable to a transverse position for pushing the spike into the ground. Pulling the bag upward retracts the spike and foot plate to a detented and retracted position.
