    摘要: A polarizing plate includes a base layer, a buffer layer and a plurality of conductive lattice lines. The buffer is formed on the base layer. The conductive lattice lines are formed on the buffer layer in a stripe shape to reflect and polarize incident light. The buffer layer protects the conductive lattice lines. The conductive lattice lines include a silver (Ag) layer or an aluminum (Al) layer. Therefore, the buffer layer protects the conductive lattice lines, so that the lifetime of the polarizing plate may be increased. Furthermore, the display quality of a display panel and a display device having the polarizing plate may be enhanced.

    摘要: An optical sheet includes a base layer, a light-condensing layer and a plurality of light-reflecting portions. The light-condensing layer includes a plurality of light-condensing portions formed on a second surface of the base layer along a first direction crossing a longitudinal side and a vertical side of the optical sheet that meet each other at the second surface. The light-condensing portions are extended in a second direction crossing the first direction to be tilted with respect to the longitudinal side and the vertical side. The light-reflecting portions are formed in the first surface corresponding to a plurality of recesses where the light-condensing portions meet each other to be formed in the second direction. The center of the light-reflecting portion is spaced apart from the recessed in the first direction. Thus, a plurality of optical sheets such as a diffusion sheet and a light-condensing sheet may be omitted.

    摘要: Disclosed are an optical sheet and a LCD apparatus having the same. The optical sheet receives a light emitted from a light guiding plate which is disposed under the optical sheet and emits the light substantially perpendicular to a liquid crystal panel. The optical sheet comprises a first prism pattern made of a material having a first refractive index and a second prism pattern made of a material having a second refractive index which is larger than the first refractive index. The viewing angle of the LCD apparatus having the optical sheet is extended and the brightness thereof is enhanced while a gray scale inversion is reduced.
