Disclosed is a method for improving a tracking speed of a satellite antenna comprising the steps of receiving image signals and external light signals of a vehicle; determining if a value of the image signals is greater than a predetermined image signal value; re-positioning a satellite antenna if the value of the image signals is less than the predetermined image signal value such that the value of the image signals is increased; maintaining a present position of the satellite antenna if the value of the image signals is greater than the predetermined image signal value; determining if an absolute value of a previous external light signal value subtracted from a value of the present external light signals is less than a predetermined external light signal value, or if a tail light is illuminated, or if an automatic illumination system is operating; determining that the vehicle is travelling through a tunnel or a similarly obstructed location if any of the three conditions of the above step are met, and maintaining a pre-tunnel position value; determining whether the absolute value of the previous external light signal value subtracted from the value of the present external light signals is greater than the predetermined external light signal value; continuously maintaining the pre-tunnel position value if the absolute value is less than the predetermined external light signal value; and controlling the antenna as needed if the absolute value of the previous external light signal value subtracted from the value of the present external light signals is greater than the predetermined external light signal value.
Abstract:
An automotive CCD camera includes a UV filter receiving light corresponding to lane images and filtering through ultraviolet light, a condenser condensing the UV light filtered through the UV filter and transmitting the light, and a light disperser dispersing the light transmitted by the condenser to output the light through at least two different paths. A CCD cell assembly receives the light dispersed by the light disperser, photographs the same and outputs light signals. An adder adds the light signals output by the CCD cell assembly and outputs image signals in which yellow lane markers can be extracted.

A method of manufacturing an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display, the method including forming a frit adhesive layer on an outer edge portion of a display substrate; forming a mold-releasing layer on a support substrate; attaching the frit adhesive layer of the display substrate on the mold-releasing layer of the support substrate; forming an organic light emitting member on the display substrate; and separating a display portion of the display substrate from the mold-releasing layer by cutting an outer edge portion of the display substrate.
Abstract:
A method of compensating for noise in a lane drifting warning system for vehicles. The method includes the steps of converting input image signals into binary data; determining if the converted image signals are those from a start of a lane detecting process; reading previously stored data of the slant in the lane markers if it is determined that it is not the start of the lane detecting process; compensating for peripheral environment noise in the slant in the lane markers; extracting portions of the signals determined to be possible indications of road lane markers if it is determined that it is the start of the lane detecting process; extracting actual lane marker portions from the portions of the signals determined to be possible indications of road lane markers; measuring and storing a slant in the lane markers; calculating a width of a lane defined by the lane markers and determining if the vehicle is veering from the lane; and outputting a warning to alert the driver if the vehicle is veering from the lane.
Abstract:
In a method for detecting lane deviation of a vehicle, a difference between a center point of lane markers and a center point of the vehicle is first determined. Then a difference between a screen center x-coordinate and a vehicle center point x-coordinate is subtracted from the determined difference between the center point of lane markers and the center point of the vehicle. And it is determined that the vehicle is deviating from the lane if the result of the subtraction is less than a predetermined value.

A device for putt-practice is disclosed. This device has a first casing opened at its opposite ends, with a speed sensor provided at each end of the first casing and a ball inlet formed at one end of the first casing. A second casing, opened at its opposite ends, is axially connected to an end of the first casing, with a transparent window provided at the upper portion of the second casing for guiding a backstroke movement of a putter during an act of putting. This second casing also has a displaying means for displaying a target putting distance preset by a user, a practical backstroke distance of the putter, and putting results after the act of putting.
