摘要： An apparatus and method for registering a telephone number received by a mobile terminal as the latest number and enabling a new call connection to the latest number during or after a phone call are provided. The method of the call connection includes checking input information during a phone call between a calling party and a called party, identifying, if the input information is received, the input information and extracting a telephone number included in the input information, performing, if a call connection is requested after extracting the telephone number, a tripartite call connection to a mobile terminal corresponding to the extracted telephone number, and performing, if a phone call is terminated after extracting the telephone number, a call connection to a mobile terminal corresponding to the extracted telephone number.

摘要： An apparatus and method for supporting a Hot Plug Detect (HPD) function in a portable terminal using High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) are provided. The apparatus includes an HPD unit for generating an HPD signal using an operation voltage of a first modem upon connecting to a display apparatus through an HDMI cable, the first modem for enabling a second modem upon detecting the HPD signal, and the second modem for outputting video data upon being enabled by the first modem.

摘要： A transmission output restricting method and apparatus of a portable terminal includes a radio frequency (RF) unit to detect a transmission power reflected based on a degree of mismatching of an antenna when a transmission power is emitted via the antenna, and to measure a transmission power increased due to the reflected transmission power caused by a human contact to the antenna, and a controller to control an output of the transmission power by restricting the output of the transmission power when the transmission power measured by the RF unit is greater than or equal to a predetermined value.
