摘要: A seat assembly for a motorcycle includes a rider seat having a forward end and a rearward end, a mounting bracket pivotally coupling the forward end of the rider seat to a frame of a motorcycle, the rider seat being pivotable to raise the rearward end of the seat, and a support arm. The seat assembly further includes a rear seat support having a first end portion and a second end portion, the first end portion being pivotally coupled to the support arm and the second end portion supporting a rear seat. The rear seat support is pivotal from a first position in which the rear seat is hidden from view below the rider seat to a second position in which the rear seat can support a passenger. The seat assembly also includes a stop feature for supporting the second end portion relative to the support arm and a lock feature for inhibiting pivoting of the rear seat support.

摘要: A throttle connector assembly receivable in an aperture formed in a motor cover in a marine propulsion device and operable to retain a throttle cable trunnion in a fixed position relative to the motor cover, the throttle connector assembly comprising a pair of cooperating connector section elements joined for movement between open and closed positions relative to each other and adapted to encircle, when in the closed position, the throttle cable trunnion and to retain the throttle cable trunnion against longitudinal movement relative to said connector section elements, the connector section elements being further adapted to form, when in the closed position, a collar, the collar having an outer surface, a first portion insertible through the aperture in the motor cover, a second portion incapable of passing through the aperture, and a substantially annular groove formed in the outer surface, the throttle connector assembly further comprising a substantially C-shaped retainer receivable in the annular groove and operable when in the annular groove, to prevent passage of the first portion of the collar through the aperture in the motor cover.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a lock construction for securing to a trailer socket and thereby preventing attachment of the trailer socket to a connecting member of an unauthorized towing vehicle. The lock construction comprising a base with a first upstanding member extending from the base and adapted to engage the trailer socket of the trailer. A second upstanding member is disposed on the base in spaced relation to the first upstanding member. A shaft like member is positioned in the housing and is slidable toward the first upstanding member from an unlocked position where the third member is spaced away from the first upstanding member to a locked position wherein the third member engages the trailer socket once it is attached to the first upstanding member. A locking mechanism is operative connected to the third member and to allow slidable movement of the third member. A ratchet member and a ratchet surface are also included to allow slidable movement of the third member to different locked locations.

摘要: A locking device for locking one or more objects together includes a lock stud defined by an elongated shaft having a head at a first end and an annular recess at a second end, and a lock body that slides over and locks onto the second end. The lock body includes an outer housing having an aperture for receiving the second end of the elongated shaft. A cylinder lock mechanism is positioned in the outer housing, and the cylinder lock is rotatable between a locked and an unlocked position. The cylinder lock is rotationally coupled to a locking disc that is eccentrically disposed in the outer housing with respect to the aperture of the outer housing. The locking disc has an aperture therein that engages the annular recess in the elongated shaft when the cylinder lock is rotated to the locked position. The locking device also includes a sleeve that is dimensioned to slide over the elongated shaft to allow the locking device to be used for locking through several different sized apertures.

摘要: The present lock construction, for securing a movable object to a fixed object, includes a housing having an interior cavity and an elongated member having a first portion secured within the housing and a second portion slidably received within the housing. The elongated member is slidable within the passageway to a locked position, securing the movable object to the fixed position and to an unlocked position, releasing the object from the fixed object. First and second members are slidably disposed in the housing and are movable to engage the cable in the locked position. A rotatable locking mechanism is disposed within said housing and is engageable with the first member to permit slidable movement of the first member and thereby allow slidable movement of the elongated member to different locked positions. The rotatable locking mechanism is also engageable with the second member to permit slidable movement of the second member and thereby prevent movement of said elongated member in the locked position.
