摘要： A vehicle sun arm connection assembly and arrangement has a wire harness to which the assembly attaches. The assembly comprises a visor male connector and a visor female connector. The visor male connector has male conductive terminals separately attached to a first insulating body. The male conductive terminals and the first insulating body extend through a base. The visor female connector has a plurality of spaced female conductive terminals, each female terminal having an open port configured to engage a male conductive terminal. The female connector has a second insulating body disposed about the female terminals. The second insulating body has an open receiving end cooperable with the male connector.

摘要： An exterior rearview mirror assembly for a motor vehicle is disclosed having a bracket which is fixedly secured to the motor vehicle. A mirror casing is secured to the bracket. The mirror casing defines a primary opening. A primary mirror is disposed within the primary opening and provides a view rearward of the motor vehicle through a primary field of view. A spotting mirror is disposed adjacent the primary mirror. The spotting mirror is defined by a single radius of curvature differing from the primary mirror such that the spotting mirror provides a secondary field of view rearward of the motor vehicle.

摘要： A sun visor assembly is adapted for attachment in a vehicle having a front windshield and a side door window. The sun visor assembly includes a slide track attachable to the vehicle above the side door window. A slide bracket is slidably disposed within the channel. A sun visor pivotably cooperates with the slide bracket, and is pivotable about an axis. An automatic pivot assembly is operatively connected between the slide track and the sun visor for automatically pivoting the sun visor toward a position in which the sun visor is substantially parallel with the slide track as the slide bracket is moved in a direction away from the front windshield, thereby preventing interference of the sun visor with a vehicle occupant as the sun visor is moved between the front windshield and side door window.

摘要： An adjustable sun visor which is capable of providing simultaneous glare protection for both the windshield and the side window. The visor is movable between a stowed position and one of three use modes. In the first use mode, glare protection is provided for the windshield. In the second use mode, glare protection is provided for the side window. And in the third use mode, glare protection is simultaneously provided for the windshield and a side window. The visor is formed from a first blade pivotally mounted to the vehicle by a mounting bracket. A second blade is affixed to the first blade and has a living hinge integrally formed therein enabling swinging movement of the second blade between a position contiguous with the first blade and a position away from the first blade to provide glare protection for the windshield when the visor is in the second use mode.

摘要： A method for creating a concave section of glass from a glass substrate having flat surfaces includes the use of a grinding wheel and a turntable. The method includes the steps of securing the glass substrates to the turntable. The turntable is then spun to create a turntable axis of rotation. The grinding wheel is rotated about a wheel axis of rotation such that the wheel axis of rotation is perpendicular to the turntable axis of rotation. The grinding wheel and the turntable move relative to each other along the turntable axis of rotation. The glass substrate is ground by the grinding wheel contacting the glass substrate to create the concave section of glass while the glass substrate is rotating about the wheel axis of rotation and moving relative to the turntable.

摘要： A spring clip assembly and method are provided for supporting a visor body relative to a visor arm. Initially, a visor arm having a substantially cylindrical outer surface and a recessed detent portion is provided. A visor body is also provided and has a spring clip assembly attached thereto. The spring clip assembly includes a housing, a spring disposed within the housing, and a bushing attached to the spring for sliding engagement with the visor arm. The visor body is then rotated about the visor arm between a first position wherein the roller contacts the detent portion of the visor arm, and a second position wherein the bushing contacts the cylindrical surface of the visor arm. The spring maintains the bushing in sliding engagement with the visor arm and biases the bushing toward the visor arm so as to provide a clamping force when in the first and second positions.
