    摘要： A method and an apparatus for operating a graphic menu bar and a recording medium using the same, suitable for a portable electronic device having a touch screen, are provided. First, a graphic menu bar is provided, which includes M graphic items arranged in sequence, where M is a positive integer. Next, the touch screen is divided into N display blocks along a coordinate axis direction for displaying N connected graphic items in graphic menu bar, where N is a positive integer smaller than M. When the touch screen detects a touch signal in display blocks and the touch signal is moved toward the coordinate axis direction for a first displacement, the graphic menu bar displayed on the touch screen is moved toward a direction opposite to the coordinate axis direction for a second displacement, and the second displacement is equal to the product of the first displacement and (M−N)/N.

    摘要： A mobile electronic device, a method for entering a screen lock state and a recording medium thereof are provided. In the present method, an input signal is received through a touch panel of the mobile electronic device. Then, a movement track of the input signal is obtained if a starting point of the input signal is located in a non-display area of the touch panel, and a vertical displacement of the input signal is calculated if the movement track contains a specific direction. Finally, a screen lock frame is dragged and displayed, and the mobile electronic device is switched to the screen lock state if the displacement reaches a predetermined value. Thereby, an intuitional way for locking the screen is provided, and accordingly, the convenience in operating the mobile electronic device is improved.

    摘要： An electronic device, a method for viewing a desktop thereof, and a computer-readable medium are provided. One of n continuous areas of the desktop and a navigation bar are displayed in a touch screen of the electronic device. The navigation bar includes an indicator and n indexes, wherein the n indexes are respectively corresponding to the n areas, and the indicator points to the index corresponding to the area currently displayed in the touch screen. When a sliding operation applied to the indicator is detected on the navigation bar, the desktop and the indicator are moved according to the sliding operation. When the sliding operation terminates, an index closest to the indicator is selected from the n indexes as a target index. Finally, the indicator is controlled to point to the target index, and a target area corresponding to the target index is displayed in the touch screen.

First, a plurality of user interfaces are provided, and one of the user interfaces is displayed in a touch screen of the portable electronic device.
