Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus for providing an accurate automatic language translation service. A user terminal according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a display unit to display a translation option setting menu for a user with respect to a source sentence of which a category is designated and to be translated; a user input unit to receive, from the user, an input on setting of a translation option; a communication unit to transmit the translation option to a translation server, and to receive a translation result from the translation server; and a control unit to control operations of the display unit, the user input unit, and the communication unit. According to the present invention, a translation service for multilingual multimedia through a natural styled highly precise automatic translation is enabled.

A clustering method includes configuring a network with clustering target objects; collecting significance of the clustering target objects; performing network embedding for outputting a set of vectors representing neighboring objects of the clustering target objects constituting the network using a neural network; and performing clustering on the clustering target objects using the set of vectors and information on each of the clustering target objects, wherein the neural network is trained so that neighboring objects having high significance are output with higher probability.

A method for extracting a person region includes detecting a face from a raw image input in real time; configuring a search range based on the detected face; extracting an outline of a person region by performing preprocessing on an image within the search range; configuring watershed markers on a background and a foreground of the image within the search range based on the extracted outline; performing a watershed transform based on the configured watershed markers; and separating the person region from the raw image using a result of the watershed transform.

An apparatus for managing risk in social web media in a prediction-based manner is provided, and includes a risk vocabulary management unit, which extracts and manages vocabulary to be managed as pertaining to risk from social web content, a risk issue prediction analysis quality extraction unit, which performs language analysis and sensitivity analysis, a risk prediction modeling unit, which models risk prediction analysis, a risk detection and notification unit, which automatically detects and notifies the risk, a risk situation monitoring unit, which monitors in real time a risk state of a risk entity when an alarm is raised with respect to the detected risk, and a risk history management unit, which receives user feedback for monitored risk information and manages a record of a terminated risk situation.
