摘要： An image decoding method according to the present invention includes reconstructing a residual block by inverse-quantizing and inverse-transforming an entropy-decoded residual block, generating a prediction block by performing intra prediction on a current block, and reconstructing an picture by adding the reconstructed residual block to the prediction block, wherein generating the prediction block includes generating a final prediction value of a prediction target pixel included in the current block based on a first prediction value of the prediction target pixel and a final correction value calculated by performing an arithmetic right shift on a two's complementary integer representation for an initial correction value of the prediction target pixel by a binary digit of 1. Accordingly, upon image encoding/decoding, computation complexity may be reduced.

The method includes generating an inter prediction block by performing inter prediction with respect to a current block, generating an intra prediction block by performing intra prediction with respect to the current block, determining a first weight and a second weight, and generating a final prediction block by respectively applying the first weight and the second weight to the inter prediction block and the intra prediction block. The generating of the intra prediction block includes generating the intra prediction block using a predefined intra prediction mode.

An image decoding method of the present invention comprises decoding first information indicating whether a maximum of N intra prediction modes are used or a maximum of M intra prediction modes are used for an intra prediction for a current block, in which the M is smaller than the N, deriving an intra prediction mode of the current block, inverse-mapping the derived intra prediction mode on a corresponding intra prediction mode among the maximum N intra prediction modes when the decoded first information indicates that the maximum M intra prediction modes are used for the intra prediction for the current block, and generating an intra prediction block by performing an intra prediction for the current block, based on the inverse-mapped intra prediction mode.
