摘要: The present disclosure provides example computer-implemented methods and decoders of video coding for prediction of a block using an inter prediction mode to obtain predicted samples for the block. One example method includes defining a size of a subblock that is smaller than the size of the block. A position of the subblock within the block is specified. One or more allowed split directions of a triangle partitioning mode (TPM) is determined for the subblock depending on which of the sides of the subblock coincide with the sides of the block. One or more predicted samples for the block is obtained by using TPM partitioning performed for the subblock in accordance with the size of the subblock, the position of the subblock within the block, and TPM split direction of the subblock. The block is reconstructed based on the one or more predicted samples.

摘要: A method of partitioning a video coding block for JVET, comprising representing a JVET coding tree unit as a root node in a quadtree plus binary tree (QTBT) structure that can have a quadtree branching from the root node and binary trees branching from each of the quadtree's leaf nodes using asymmetric binary partitioning to split a coding unit represented by a quadtree leaf node into two child coding units of unequal size, representing the two child coding units as leaf nodes in a binary tree branching from the quadtree leaf node and coding the child coding units represented by leaf nodes of the binary tree with JVET, wherein further partitioning of child coding units split from quadtree leaf nodes via asymmetric binary partitioning is disallowed.

The method comprises: receiving, from a bitstream, a coding unit and determining a mode type condition of the coding unit; if the coding unit is encoded in a first chroma format, setting the mode type condition of the coding unit to a first mode type condition; if the coding unit is encoded in a second chroma format and the coding unit is a smallest chroma intra prediction unit, setting the mode type condition of the coding unit to a second mode type condition if a luma block of the coding unit and the splitting method satisfy a first criterion; setting the mode type condition of the coding unit to a third mode type condition if the luma block of the coding unit and the splitting method satisfy a second criterion, and decoding the coding unit based on the mode type condition.

摘要: A mechanism for processing video data is disclosed. A determination is made to apply an end-to-end neural network-based video codec to a current video unit of a video. The end-to-end neural network-based video codec comprises a spatial-temporal adaptive compression (STAC) component including a frame extrapolative compression (FEC) branch and an image compression branch. A conversion is performed between the current video unit and a bitstream of the video via the end-to-end neural network-based video codec.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for video processing. A method for video processing is proposed. The method comprises: determining, during a conversion between a target video block of a video and a bitstream of the video, an intra block copy (IBC)-based mode to be applied for the target video block, the IBC-based mode being based on at least one of the following: an IBC merge mode with block vector difference (MBVD), a combined prediction mode based on an IBC mode and at least one further prediction mode, an IBC mode based on triangle partitioning, an IBC mode based on geometric partitioning, an IBC advanced motion vector prediction (AMVP) mode based on template matching (TM), or an IBC merge mode based on TM; and performing the conversion based on the IBC-based mode.
