    Abstract: A method of a terminal, according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, may comprise: receiving, from a base station, radio resource control (RRC) signaling including measurement gap configuration information (MeasGapConfig) including gap setup information (gapSAT) of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs); obtaining transmission position information of first SSBs and second SSBs transmitted in different positions based on gap configuration (GapConfig) of the gap setup information; receiving the first SSBs and the second SSBs through different beams from the base station based on the obtained transmission position information; and measuring reception powers of the received first SSBs and second SSBs.
