    摘要: A method for cleansing a desired skin surface, and a device therefor, can include a base to house a jar for the cleansing liquid, a jar for the removed liquid and debris, a pump to deliver the cleansing liquid to a wand applicator, and a pump to suction the cleansing liquid and debris removed from the desired skin surface. The two pumps can be driven by separate motors to allow a user to separately control the amount of liquid dispensed and the magnitude of the suction force applied. The device can also include an infusion enhancer that assists in the opening of the pores of the desired skin surface or by tightening the desired skin surface. The device can further include a self-cleaning tip that allows a cleaning solution to be immediately recycled through the system into the jar for the removed liquid and debris.

From a database, the computer system retrieves information of a location of the work task and information of agent locations determined by a satellite navigation system. The computer system selects one or more candidate agents who are within a predetermined range of the location of the work task, based on the agent locations determined by the satellite navigation system. Retrieving network node data and location information of routers or repeaters in a network, the computer system determines locations of the one or more candidate agents. The computer system chooses a best available agent for the work task from the one or more candidate agents, based on the location of the work task and the locations of the one or more candidate agents.

The substrate includes a first region that exudes fluid under a compressive or tensile load and a second region that imbibes fluid under the compressive or tensile load. The first region has a first porosity and a first permeability and the second region has a second porosity and a second permeability. The first permeability and the second permeability are about 10−13 m2 to 105 m2. The first porosity and the second porosity are about 0.3 to about 0.7. The first porosity and the second porosity are at least about 5% different.

    摘要: A gauge mounting bracket for a snowmobile that allows hot gas in the engine compartment to circulate and escape through a plurality of side vent openings formed thereon. The mounting bracket allows the user to adjust the angular position of a speedometer or tachometer gauge on the dashboard of a snowmobile to accommodate riders who sit or stand while driving. The mounting bracket includes lower dashboard mounting surface and an upper gauge mounting surface. The lower dashboard mounting surface is flush mounted on the existing dashboard of a snowmobile while the upper gauge mounting surface is tilted upward and aligned 5 to 50 degrees from the dashboard mounting surface. During assembly, the mounting bracket is mounted over an existing or newly created hole in the dashboard that leads to the engine compartment. Heated air created in the compartment travels upward and rearward and then escapes through the vent openings.

    摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for detecting the connection of a FireWire peer to a FireWire device. In one embodiment, a device may determine whether a peer connection is present based on peer detection circuit configured in each FireWire port of a FireWire device. When no peer is connected to a device, a peer connection in the circuit may be open, and a current path through the circuit may provide a low detect signal, indicating that no peer is connected. When a peer is connected to a detecting device, the current may pass through a resistance in the detected peer to provide a high detect signal, indicating that a peer is connected. In some embodiments, once a peer is detected, the FireWire system of the detecting device may be powered on, and the peer detection circuit may be powered off.
