Abstract: A method for determining an ophthalmic lens adapted to a wearer, the method including: receiving wearer data including at least the ophthalmic prescription of the wearer; receiving a set of object points associated with target optical performances based on the wearer data; determining an ophthalmic lens adapted to the wearer, the ophthalmic lens providing optical performances, for light rays propagating from the set of object points to the center of rotation of the eye of the wearer passing through the ophthalmic lens, the closest to the target optical performances.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining a progressive ophthalmic device for personalised visual compensation for an individual, according to which the following steps are performed: a) in a first data acquisition phase, determining at least at a first time preceding the appearance of the presbyopia of this individual, at least one value of at least one individual parameter of said individual, and recording each value of the individual parameter of the wearer in a database, in correlation with an associated temporal indicator, b) in a second determination step of the progressive ophthalmic device for personalised visual compensation, determining a desired value of at least one geometric or optical parameter of said progressive ophthalmic device for visual compensation, taking account of said at least one value of the individual parameter determined in step a) and the associated temporal indicator.

Abstract: A progressive ophthalmic lens adapted to a wearer in given wearing conditions having an addition and fulfilling an acuity performance criterion determined by: defining a set of at least three different vision distances including at least a first vision distance greater than or equal to 4 m, a second vision distance greater than or equal to 0.6 m and smaller than or equal to 2 m and a third vision distance smaller than or equal to 0.5 m, each vision distance being associated with an acuity loss threshold value and an acuity area threshold value, providing an acuity model defining acuity loss as a function of lens power and resulting astigmatism, determining of each vision distance using the acuity model the area of gaze directions for which the acuity loss is below the associated acuity loss threshold value.

Abstract: A method for determining an optical design criterion for designing an optical lens adapted to a sport practice, the method including: defining an evaluation axis for evaluating sensory/motor/cognitive requirement of a sport practice, for each of a plurality of sports; attributing a score to the sport practice on each evaluation axis; determining clusters of sports in which practices have similar score; determining at least one visual need corresponding to each cluster of sports; determining, for each cluster, at least one optical design criterion as a function of the associated visual need; and storing in a memory a record for each cluster, along with each optical design criterion associated with the cluster.

Abstract: A method implemented by a computer for determining a single vision ophthalmic lens that is adapted to a wearer, the method including a wearer prescription data providing step during which wearer prescription data indicative at least of the prescribed optical power of the wearer are provided, a wearing data providing step during which wearing data indicative of the wearing parameters of the single vision ophthalmic lens by the wearer are provided, a single vision ophthalmic lens determining step during which the single vision ophthalmic lens is determined so that in wearing conditions corresponding to the wearing parameters, the single vision ophthalmic lens provides to the wearer the prescribed optical power in at least a first gazing direction when gazing at a first distance and second gazing direction when gazing at a second distance, wherein the first and second distances are different and the first and second gazing directions are different.
