    摘要: A laminated piezoelectric transducer, comprising a laminate of a plurality of piezoelectric plates with paste electrodes inserted therebetween and bonding the plates together. Rows of metal extrusions are made by electroless plating onto the paste electrodes on the peripheral outer surface of the laminate. Each row of the metal extrusions is formed onto and electrically connected to alternate paste electrodes, so that by electrically connecting each row of the metal extrusions, the laminate of the piezoelectric plates is electrically connected in parallel. This laminated piezoelectric transducer allows the formation of the paste electrodes on the entire or at least substantially the entire main surfaces of the piezoelectric plates, and eliminates the need for the usual metal plate electrodes inserted between the piezoelectric plates.

    摘要: A gas composition sensor includes a gas sensor element having an electric resistance value which varies in accordance with the composition of exhaust gases to be sensed, and a pair of electrodes attached to the gas sensor element for detecting the electric resistance value, whereby the resistance value of the gas sensor element is detected to sense the composition of the exhaust gases. A layer of material substantially impervious to the gases is formed on the gas sensor element to extend between the electrodes and surround the electrodes and the layer is also formed on other portions of the electrodes exposed to the exhaust gases.

    摘要: A transparent electroluminescent display panel overlaps at least a part of a conventional instrument panel, and forms a combined display panel assembly. Overlapping front and back panel displays are selectively displayed. The front electroluminescent panel displays additional information such as navigation maps, and is turned off when such additional information is not required while the back panel is turned on. The present invention eliminates undesirable reflected images of the back panel vaguely shown on the front panel when the front panel is on and the back panel is off. A light attenuator, eliminates the reflected images. It decreases the intensity of light emitted from the front panel to the back panel, and is disposed between the back and the front panels or built into the electroluminescent panel, so that the reflected images are eliminated.
