Abstract: A machine tool controller capable of identifying the factors of a warning easily is provided. A controller of a machine tool includes a power supply monitoring unit, a power supply abnormality detecting unit, and an abnormality diagnosis unit. The power supply monitoring unit acquires measurements indicating an operating state of a machine tool and/or a peripheral device (for example, an AC power supply or a motor) of the machine tool. The power supply abnormality detecting unit detects an abnormality in the operating state of the machine tool and/or the peripheral device and outputs a signal indicating the abnormality and the measurements obtained when the abnormality was detected. The abnormality diagnosis unit automatically selects a measurement related to the abnormality among the measurements and automatically diagnoses factors of the abnormality.

Abstract: A machine tool controller includes: a voltage detection unit which detects a voltage value of an input power supply; a time measurement unit which measures an occurrence time and a duration time when a voltage drop state occurs with respect to the voltage value; an abnormality determination unit which determines whether a low voltage abnormality or a power failure occurs with respect to the input power supply based on the voltage value and the duration time of the voltage drop state; a machining management unit which acquires a machining condition command and machining information of the machine tool; and a storage unit which stores the voltage value detected by the voltage detection unit, the occurrence time of the voltage drop state measured by the time measurement unit, and the machining information when the abnormality determination unit determines that the low voltage abnormality occurs with respect to the input power supply.

Abstract: A controller of a motor that drives a driven body includes: an inertia estimating unit that estimates inertia on the basis of feedback information (torque and current) of the motor; a computing unit that computes an acceleration or deceleration time constant of the motor from the estimation inertia estimated by the inertia estimating unit; a storage unit that stores an inertia difference which is a difference between the estimation inertia and at least one known actual inertia and a time constant difference which is a difference between an actual acceleration or deceleration time constant corresponding to the actual inertia and an acceleration or deceleration time constant calculated on the basis of the estimation inertia; and a correction unit that corrects the acceleration or deceleration time constant calculated by the computing unit using the inertia difference and the time constant difference stored in the storage unit.
