摘要: A backup power supplying device having programmable current-balancing control includes at least two power modules connected in parallel. The power module includes a power converter, a current sensing component, a potential tuner, a microprocessor, a current-balancing control circuit and an output voltage controller. The current sensing component senses an output current of the power converter to generate a current sensing signal. The microprocessor controls the potential tuner to generate a tuning signal, and receives a mode signal to control the power module to operate in a power supply or sleep mode. The current-balancing control circuit receives the current sensing signal, the tuning signal and the mode signal. When the power module operates in the sleep mode, an output voltage of the power converter is a sleep voltage; a voltage level of the sleep voltage is lower than a voltage level of a supply voltage by a predetermined voltage value.

摘要: Apparatus, systems, and methods for operation of an electronic trip unit are described. One example is a method for use in operating an electronic trip unit including a first controller. The first controller is configured to selectively operate a tripping device coupled between an input terminal and an output terminal of the electronic trip unit. The method includes receiving, by a second controller, a plurality of health signals from the first controller. The second controller determines an existence of an undesired condition based on at least one of the plurality of different health signals, and determines a first action to be taken to remedy the undesired condition.

摘要: The invention describes a method, system, device, and computer-readable medium having computer-executable instructions for classifying faults on an electrical power line. In particular, the invention permits the classification of crossover faults, using a local measurement technique. The inventive method includes providing a first electrical power transmission line and a second electrical power transmission line, and monitoring the first electrical power transmission line to identify a crossover fault occurring between the first and the second electrical power transmission lines.
