Abstract: A transformer capable of readily ensuring a predetermined insulation distance with no increase in the overall size of the transformer and further capable of reducing the number of constituent parts to achieve cost reduction. According to the present invention, the transformer includes a first bobbin having a wire winding section and a flange formed at an end of the wire winding section, a first coil wound around the wire winding section of the first bobbin, a second coil disposed coaxially with the first coil and adjacent to the flange, and a core disposed around the outer circumferences of the first and second coils to form a closed magnetic circuit, and a tubular protrusion that axially extends and surrounds the outer circumference of the second coil is formed along an outer circumferential portion of the flange of the first bobbin.

Abstract: A power supply transformer that can ensure a desired inter-coil creeping distance with no risk of insulation breakdown when high voltage is applied. The power supply transformer includes a case having a bottomed double tubular shape, a first coil accommodated between inner and outer tubes of the case, a lid body that closes an upper opening of the case, a second coil disposed on the upper surface of the lid body, and a core surrounding the case and the second coil. The first coil is formed only of a round wire wound in multiple layers. The lid body has a flat plate section on which the second coil is placed and a tubular inner wall section and outer wall section that cover the inner and outer circumferences of the second coil and stand on the flat plate section.

Abstract: There is provided a transformer in which leakage inductance can be adjusted arbitrarily and which can be readily processed and achieves reduction in size. The transformer includes: a primary coil (10) and a secondary coil (12); and a core (14) that forms an annular closed magnetic circuit by being arranged across the primary coil and the secondary coil.
