Abstract: A brake actuation assembly comprising a thrust and support element comprising a first thrust end adapted to cooperate with a first jaw of a brake; the thrust and support element comprising a second thrust and support element end; a lever rotatably supported to the thrust and support element for rotating at least along a rotation thrust direction; the lever comprising a first lever end adapted to cooperate with a second jaw of the brake; the lever comprising a second lever end, wherein the second lever end comprises a hooking seat; and wherein the hooking seat is adapted to firmly receive a connecting portion of a coupling end of a traction cable, the traction cable having a cable body capable of an elastic flexural deformation; the hooking seat being arranged undercut with respect to the rectilinear development direction of the cable body; the lever being adapted to oscillate; wherein the lever comprises a lever abutment surface which cooperates with a stop abutment counter-surface provided in the thrust and support element to prevent a free rotation of the lever in the opposite direction to the rotation thrust direction; the thrust and support element and the second lever end delimiting a guide channel which allows the passage of at least the coupling end; the guide channel allowing the coupling end to rotate about the second lever end and to be coupled to the hooking seat upon the elastic return of the cable body to a substantially straight cable body position, preventing the rotation of the lever in the opposite direction to the rotation thrust direction.

Abstract: A cable-pulling actuation system for a parking brake having a body that houses a motor, a tie rod, suitable to actuate along an actuation direction, in correspondence of a first end, an actuating member of a drum brake, and a transmission that operatively connects the motor to a second end of the tie rod. The second end of the tie rod is integral in translation with a first screw, having a first thread with a first pitch. The first screw is engaged, through the first thread, in a second screw. The second screw comprises a second thread with a second pitch, through which is in turn engaged in a nut screw integral with the body, the second thread being opposite to the first thread. The second screw being actuated in rotation by the transmission.

Abstract: A cable-pull actuation system for a parking brake may have a body which houses an electric motor device. A rod, adapted to operate along an actuation direction, at a first end thereof, an actuation member of a drum brake and/or of a parking brake. A transmission device may operatively connect the electric motor device to a second end of the rod which is translationally integral with a screw. The screw may be engaged with a nut screw rotationally actuated by the transmission device. A pre-loading device may act in contrast on the screw. The pre-loading device may be compressively pre-loaded to exert a pre-load traction on the rod to offset variations of load on the rod. The pre-loading device may be configured to exert a thrust action on the rod following the annulment of axial clearances for an incremental compression of the pre-loading device with respect to the pre-load value.
