Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an actuator for an electronic parking brake and, more particularly, to an actuator for an electronic parking brake, whereby a motor may be stably fixed using a simple structure. To this end, an actuator for an electronic parking brake according to the present disclosure comprises: a motor having a bracket to fix a position of a motor housing; a main housing in which the motor is accommodated; and a main cover seated on an upper end of the main housing, wherein a first fastening protrusion extending downward to be inserted into a first fastening groove formed in the motor housing and a second fastening protrusion extending outward in the radial direction to be inserted into a second fastening groove formed in the main housing are formed on the bracket, and when the motor is assembled, the second fastening groove supports the second fastening protrusion to prevent the axial direction movement of the second fastening protrusion.

Abstract: A parking brake for a wheel rotor having a brake pad associated therewith includes a housing defining first and second passages. First and second pistons are provided in the respective first and second passages. Spindles are threadably connected with each piston. An electromagnetic locking mechanism provided between the spindles having a first magnetic polarity for placing the locking mechanism in a first condition allowing relative rotation between the spindles and the pistons such that the pistons are axially movable within the passages and into engagement with the brake pad in response to hydraulic pressure applied to the pistons. The electromagnetic locking mechanism has a second magnetic polarity for placing the locking mechanism in a second condition preventing relative rotation between the spindles and the pistons such that the pistons remain engaged with the brake pad when hydraulic fluid pressure is removed from the pistons.

Abstract: A toothed safe braking apparatus for use in robotic joint, comprising an electromagnetic telescoping apparatus (6) and a friction engagement component (10). The friction engagement component (10) is mounted on a shaft (C) of the robotic joint and comprises a brake lock ring gear (1) provided with a first center fitting hole (12), the brake lock ring gear (1) being provided with teeth (11) arranged on the outer circumferential surface thereof, a pretension ring (2) provided with a second center fitting hole (13), and a brake hub (4) provided with a first end surface (14), a second end surface (15), and an outer circumferential surface (16). On a locked position, a working bit (17) of the electromagnetic telescoping apparatus (6) can be engaged with the teeth (11) on the brake lock ring gear (1) of the friction engagement component (10); and, on an unlocked position, the working bit (17) of the electromagnetic telescoping apparatus (6) can be disengaged from the teeth (11) on the brake lock ring gear (1) of the friction engagement component (10). The brake lock ring gear (1) and the pretension ring (2) are arranged in parallel via the first fitting hole (12) and the second fitting hole (13) to be friction engaged on the outer circumferential surface (16) of the brake hub (4).

Abstract: A fan brake structure includes a fan and a brake device. The fan has a frame body, a fan impeller and a stator. The brake device is disposed under a bottom of a bearing cup. The brake device has a driving member, a brake member and an elastic member. The elastic member abuts against one end of the brake member. The other end of the brake member has a boss body. The driving member has a spiral rail. When the driving member rotates, the boss body moves along the spiral rail, whereby the brake member linearly reciprocally moves upward to brake the fan impeller or linearly reciprocally moves downward to release the fan impeller from the braking.

Abstract: The flywheel device includes a sealed housing section; a rotor located in the sealed housing section where the rotor is held in a vertical position by a magnetic system; a controller coupled to the magnetic system; and a braking annular ring mounted to the sealed housing section below the rotor, where the rotor contacts the braking annular ring when the rotor is lowered or otherwise dropped from the vertical position. The controller performs operations to provide control signals to provide first power to the magnetic system to hold the rotor in the vertical position and provide second control signals to provide second power to the magnetic system to lower the rotor.

Abstract: There is provided a rotary actuator which makes it possible to operate a regulation release of a regulating member from the outside of a case body when the regulating member is in a regulation position, and can prevent an unexpected regulation release, and a robot. Abstract: A brake system for maintaining an angular position of a spindle assembly. A pump-powered motor drives rotation of a spindle on the machine. When no rotation is desired, the spindle will slow, then stop at a desired angular orientation. A rotational sensor will determine the clock position, and a controller compares that to a desired angular orientation. If an error tolerance is exceeded, the motor will rotate the spindle back to the desired orientation.

Abstract: An end of arm tool (EOAT) for use during manufacture of parts using one or more pre-impregnated composite plies is disclosed. In an embodiment, the EOAT includes a mechanical gripper arrangement with first and second fingers configured to supply a compressive force to grip a pre-impregnated composite ply therebetween. At least one of the first and second fingers include a roller member to engage opposite surfaces of the pre-preg ply and supply a compressive gripping force. The roller member on either or both the first and second fingers preferably include a torque regulator to selectively adjust an associated roller member's resistance to rotation via supply of a rotational torque resistance.
