摘要: Provided is an aqueous ink for ink jet recording that includes: water; a water-soluble organic solvent; a coloring material; and a specific compound having a structure expressed by the following General Formula (I), wherein ink pH is in a range of 6.5 to 8.5. In General Formula (I), Ra, Rb, Rc, and Rd each independently represent a structure expressed by General Formula (I-R) or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms which is not branched, R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and n represents an integer in a range of 0 to 3, and the total carbon number of the structure expressed by General Formula (I-R) is equal to or less than 6.
