Abstract: Examples herein include methods, systems, and computer program products for utilizing neural networks in ultrasound systems. The methods include processor(s) of a computing device obtaining an image that depicts cells. The processor(s) applies one or more nuclei detection algorithms to detect nuclear aspects in the image. The processor(s) generates a nuclear segmentation map. The processor(s) utilizes the nuclear segmentation map to identify one or more regions of interest in the image. The processor(s) generates a classification result by automatically determining a cell type for each cell in a region of interest of the regions of interest.
