Abstract:
An inkjet recording device includes an image forming section that records an image by applying ink, a heating-drying processing section that dries ink droplets applied to the sheet P, a sensor that is provided on a downstream side of the image forming section in the conveying direction and detects an ambient temperature outside the heating-drying processing section in the device, and a control unit that controls the ambient temperature outside the heating-drying processing section in the device. In the case where the ambient temperature is in a target range, the control unit switches the inkjet recording device to a recording mode in which set temperature of the heating-drying processing section is used as a target value corresponding to the time of recording from a standby mode in which set temperature of the heating-drying processing section is used as a target value corresponding to the time of standby.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus including: a jetting head that jets, onto a recording medium, a curable ink composition including 3% by mass to 18% by mass, based on a total amount of the ink composition, of a polyfunctional polymerizable compound, and water; a chain gripper that grips a leading end of the recording medium onto which the curable ink composition has been jetted from the jetting head, and conveys the recording medium; and an irradiation device that irradiates light to the recording medium which is conveyed by the chain gripper and onto which the curable ink composition has been jetted.
Abstract:
There is provided an inkjet recording apparatus including: plural jetting heads that jet respectively different types of photocurable color inks onto a conveyed recording medium and which, when layer-jetting the different types of photocurable color inks onto the recording medium, first jet the photocurable color ink having the largest light blocking effect among the plural photocurable color inks that the plural jetting heads layer-jet; and an irradiation device that applies light to the photocurable color inks that have been jetted onto the recording medium.
Abstract:
Provided are a printing device and a control method of a printing device that prevent accumulation of dirt on a drying device caused by a pretreatment liquid. In a printing device including an ink applying device that applies an ink to a printing surface of a long transported substrate, a pretreatment liquid applying device that applies a pretreatment liquid to the printing surface, and a first drying device that has a pass roller coming into contact with the printing surface and that dries the ink, transport of the substrate is stopped once an end part that is an end of a region of the printing surface of the substrate, to which the pretreatment liquid is applied, reaches between the first drying device and a winding device, in a case of stopping the transport of the substrate.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an image recording apparatus and method, and a varnish application device and method, which can ensure the adhesiveness of the varnish that has been applied onto the surface of the image. An image recording method according to an aspect of the present invention includes: comparing an attained temperature T1 (attained temperature T1 when ink has been dried) of the surface of the image on the medium when the ink has been dried, with a melting point TW of the wax component contained in the ink; and heating the surface of the image before the varnish that has been applied in the varnish application step is cured in the varnish curing step, when T1≧TW holds.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus including: a jetting head that jets, onto a recording medium, a curable ink composition including 0.5% by mass or more, based on a total amount of the ink composition, of a water-soluble organic solvent having an SP value of 21 (MPa)1/2 or more, and water; a chain gripper that grips a leading end portion of the recording medium onto which the curable ink composition has been jetted from the jetting head, and conveys the recording medium; an irradiation device that irradiates light to the recording medium which is conveyed by the chain gripper and onto which the curable ink composition has been jetted; and a paper discharge section that accumulates the recording medium to which light has been irradiated by the irradiation device.
