Abstract:
Provided are a flexible tube for an endoscope, the flexible tube having good elasticity, good flexibility, and sufficient chemical resistance, an endoscopic medical device including the flexible tube for an endoscope, a method for producing the flexible tube for an endoscope, and a method for producing the endoscopic medical device. The flexible tube for an endoscope has a flexible-tube base that is tubular and that has flexibility and a polymer cover layer covering the flexible-tube base. The flexible-tube base has a spiral tube made of a metal strip and a tubular mesh member covering the spiral tube and made of braided metal wires, the tubular mesh member has a porosity of 2% to 10%, and the flexible tube has, between the flexible-tube base and the polymer cover layer, a primer layer including a silane coupling agent.
Abstract:
A flexible tube for an endoscope includes a flexible tube base, an outer coating layer including a soft resin layer and a hard resin layer, a ratio changing portion, and a tapered portion. In the ratio changing portion, a percentage of a thickness of the hard resin layer decreases and a percentage of a thickness of the soft resin layer increases toward a distal side from a proximal side of the base. In the tapered portion, a ratio between the thickness of the hard resin layer and the thickness of the soft resin layer is maintained, which ratio is the same as that at a position in the ratio changing portion where the percentage of the thickness of the hard resin layer is a lower limit. In the tapered position, an outer diameter of the outer coating layer decreases toward a distal end of the flexible tube base.
Abstract:
A guide tube of the embodiment includes a long tube main body to be inserted into a body, and a handle part provided on a proximal end side of the tube main body, in which the handle part includes an inner sheath to which a proximal end part of the tube main body is connected and a protection sheath externally inserted into the inner sheath, and the inner sheath includes a port part for supplying and discharging a fluid to and from the tube main body.
Abstract:
Provided are a flexible tube for an endoscope, the flexible tube having a flexible tube base containing metal as a constituent material, a resin cover layer that covers an outer periphery of the flexible tube base, and a primer layer that includes a specific silane coupling agent and that is disposed between the flexible tube base and the resin cover layer, in which the resin cover layer includes at least one compound selected from the group consisting of polyamides, polyesters, polyurethanes, and polyolefins at least on a side of the resin cover layer in contact with the primer layer, an endoscopic medical device including the flexible tube for an endoscope, a method for producing the flexible tube for an endoscope, and a method for producing the endoscopic medical device.

Abstract:
Provided is an overtube with improved insertability of a distal end side of the overtube into a digestive tract. An overtube includes a supply and discharge port for supplying and discharging a fluid, a first region that is located on a distal end side with respect to the supply and discharge port and includes an outer tube, an inner tube, and a shape-deformable body, and a second region that is located on the distal end side with respect to the first region and includes the outer tube and the inner tube. The first region is switchable between a first state in which the fluid is supplied to a tube inner space between the outer tube and the inner tube via the supply and discharge port and a second state that is stiffer than the first state and in which the fluid is discharged, and the second region is softer than the second state of the first region.
