摘要: Methods, apparatus and systems for counting and recognizing objects or people based on rhythmic motion monitoring are described. A described method comprises: obtaining N1 time series of channel information (TSCI) of a wireless multipath channel that is impacted by a rhythmic motion of an object in a venue, wherein the N1 TSCI is extracted from a wireless signal transmitted from a transmitter to a receiver through the wireless multipath channel; decomposing each of the N1 TSCI into N2 time series of channel information components (TSCIC), wherein a channel information component (CIC) of each of the N2 TSCIC at a time comprises a respective component of a channel information (CI) of the TSCI at the time, wherein N1 and N2 are positive integers; monitoring the rhythmic motion of the object based on at least one of: the N1*N2 TSCIC and the N1 TSCI.

摘要: Methods, apparatus and systems for wireless sensing based on linkwise motion statistics (link-MS) are described. In one example, a described method comprises: determining a plurality of heterogeneous wireless devices of a wireless sensing system in a venue; determining a plurality of device-links each of comprises two of the heterogeneous wireless devices, one functioning as a transmitter and the other functioning as a receiver; for each respective device-link of the plurality of device-links, transmitting a respective wireless signal from a respective transmitter of the respective device-link through a wireless multipath channel of the venue, wherein the wireless multipath channel is impacted by a motion of an object in the venue, receiving the respective wireless signal by a respective receiver of the respective device-link through the wireless multipath channel, wherein the respective received wireless signal differs from the respective transmitted wireless signal due to the wireless multipath channel of the venue and the motion of the object, obtaining a respective time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the respective received wireless signal of the respective device-link, computing a respective link-MS for the respective device-link based on the respective TSCI; performing a sensing task associated with the motion of the object based on at least one of: all the TSCI or all the link-MS; and computing a location in the venue associated with the sensing task based on all the link-MS.

摘要: Methods, apparatus and systems for wirelessly monitoring a micro motion of an object are described. In one example, a described system comprises: a transmitter configured for transmitting a first wireless signal through a wireless multipath channel of a venue; a receiver configured for receiving a second wireless signal through the wireless multipath channel; and a processor. The second wireless signal differs from the first wireless signal due to the wireless multipath channel and a motion of an object in the venue. The processor is configured for: obtaining a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the second wireless signal, wherein each channel information (CI) of the TSCI comprises N1 CI components; selecting N2 CI components from the N1 CI components based on a first analysis of the N1 CI components; computing a micro-motion (MM) statistics based on the N2 selected CI components and the first analysis; monitoring the motion of the object based on a second analysis of the MM statistics; performing a task based on the first analysis and the second analysis; and generating a response based on the task, the first analysis and the second analysis.

In one example, a described system comprises: a transmitter configured for transmitting a first wireless signal through a wireless multipath channel of a venue; a receiver configured for receiving a second wireless signal through the wireless multipath channel; and a processor. The second wireless signal comprises a reflection of the first wireless signal by a tip of a writing instrument in the venue. The processor is configured for: obtaining a time series of channel information (CI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the second wireless signal, wherein each CI comprises at least one of: a channel state information (CSI), channel impulse response (CIR), channel frequency response (CFR), or received signal strength index (RSSI); and tracking a movement of the tip of the writing instrument based on the time series of CI (TSCI).

The processor is configured for: obtaining a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the second wireless signal, wherein each channel information (CI) of the TSCI comprises N1 CI components; selecting N2 CI components from the N1 CI components based on a first analysis of the N1 CI components; computing a micro-motion (MM) statistics based on the N2 selected CI components and the first analysis; monitoring the motion of the object based on a second analysis of the MM statistics; performing a task based on the first analysis and the second analysis; and generating a response based on the task, the first analysis and the second analysis.

The processor is configured for: obtaining N1 time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the received wireless signal, computing N4 selected projections based on the N1 TSCI, and performing a sensing task associated with the motion of the object based on the N4 selected projections. N4 is a positive integer. N1=N2*N3. N2 is a quantity of transmit antennas on the transmitter. N3 is a quantity of receive antennas on the receiver. Each TSCI is associated with a respective transmit antenna of the transmitter and a respective receive antenna of the receiver.

摘要: Methods, apparatus and systems for wireless sleep monitoring are disclosed. In one embodiment, a described sleep monitoring system comprises: at least one sensor in a venue, wherein the at least one sensor comprises a wireless non-contact sensor having no physical contact with the user; a processor communicatively coupled to the at least one sensor; a memory communicatively coupled to the processor; and a set of instructions stored in the memory. The set of instructions, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to perform: obtaining, based on the at least one sensor, a plurality of time series of sensing features (TSSF) associated with a sleep motion of a user in the venue, and monitoring the sleep motion of the user jointly based on the plurality of TSSF. At least one TSSF of the plurality of TSSF is obtained by: communicating, based on the wireless non-contact sensor, a wireless signal in a wireless multipath channel of the venue, extracting a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel of the venue from the wireless signal, and obtaining the at least one TSSF based on the TSCI.

摘要: Methods, apparatus and systems for wireless vital signs monitoring are described. In one embodiment, a described system comprises: a transmitter, a receiver, a processor. The transmitter transmits, using N1 transmit antennas, a wireless signal through a wireless multipath channel of a venue, while a first object in the venue is having a first repetitive motion. The receiver receives, using N2 receive antennas, the wireless signal through the wireless multipath channel, and extracts a plurality of time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel from the wireless signal. N1 and N2 are positive integers. Each of the plurality of TSCI is associated with a transmit antenna of the transmitter and a receive antenna of the receiver. The processor computes a first information of the first repetitive motion based on the plurality of TSCI, and monitors the first repetitive motion of the first object based on the first information.

The processor is configured for: obtaining a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the second wireless signal, wherein each channel information (CI) of the TSCI comprises a plurality of CI components, each of which is associated with an index; computing an inter-component statistics based on the plurality of CI components; computing, based on the inter-component statistics, a proximity information of the object with respect to a reference location in the venue; and performing a task based on the proximity information of the object.
