Abstract:
A sheet processing apparatus and method of adjusting a vertical position of a sheet input of a sheet processing apparatus includes a support of the apparatus having first vertically elongated guiding members and second vertically elongated guiding members. The second guiding members are slideably arranged at the first guiding members. The first guiding members are connected to at least one base member, and the second guiding members are connected to a support frame. A vertical position of at least one of the second guide members is adjustable relative to a corresponding one of the first guide members in order to adjust a vertical position of the sheet input.
Abstract:
A document handling device has a support frame with four legs, at least one of which is height-adjustable. The support frame includes a torsion meter and a display for displaying a torsion of the support frame. The display is arranged in a position where it is visible for a person adjusting the height of the at least one height-adjustable leg. In an embodiment, it is possible to perform state detection between subsequent droplet ejections, thereby obtaining a highly reliable inkjet process.
Abstract:
A device for cleaning the nozzles of a printhead of a printer which includes scraper means, recording means for recording which nozzles require cleaning, and a control unit coupled to the recording means for actuating the printhead and/or the scraper means in order to clean the section(s) of the printhead having nozzles(s) requiring cleaning.
Abstract:
A sheet collecting device for collecting sheets leaving the printing device, which includes a delivery rack for collecting sheets, a front edge stopper for collecting the front edge of a sheet in a first position of the sheet collecting device in which the sheet is deposited on the delivery rack, and wherein the sheet collecting device can be placed in a second position in which the sheets can be deposited on the delivery rack without the intervention of the front edge stopper.
Abstract:
A nozzle cleaning device for an ink jet printer containing a plurality of ink reservoirs, the cleaning device including a pressure source and a valve mechanism for selectively coupling the pressure source to the ink reservoirs, wherein the valve mechanism comprises a valve housing, and a piston movable within the valve housing and defining therewith a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber, said first and second pressure chamber being connected to the pressure source such that during idle conditions, the pressure source is in communication with the ink reservoirs through said first pressure chamber, and during cleaning conditions and through the movement of the piston, the pressure source is in selective communication with individual ink reservoirs through said second pressure chamber.
